Datadog gives engineering teams a single place to monitor infrastructure, applications, containers, logs, metrics, traces, and user-facing performance. The ability to correlate telemetry across services is especially valuable when investigating slow requests, failed deployments, database bottlenecks, or production incidents: instead of switching between disconnected tools, teams can move from an alert to the relevant logs and distributed traces in the same workflow. Google Workspace supports the internal side of operations through shared runbooks, incident documentation, and team communication, while Datadog provides the technical visibility required to operate production systems. Costs and data retention need active governance as telemetry volume grows, but the platform is a strong option for teams that need deeper operational insight and faster incident diagnosis
