01 Is Simplified any Good? My expert Review
Simplified has been a game-changer for my small marketing team over the last 6 months as a true production booster. Its comprehensive capabilities, allowing us to do everything in one platform (no longer will we have to use Canva for graphics, Grammarly for copy and another scheduler just for social posts), is what originally attracted me to this tool.
One of the most valuable tools I’ve found in Simplified is its AI writing assistant. This feature allows me to rapidly develop an array of potential email subject lines and/or create numerous ad variations for A/B testing. In fact, last month, I was able to develop an entire weeks worth of captions for Instagram in less than 30 minutes; whereas it used to take me a full day.
While the quality may not be perfect every time, it does provide a great foundation from which to begin developing your content. The design functionality of Simplified is also quite user-friendly and my non-design savvy team members are able to produce fairly good looking graphics without having to bother our Creative Director.
However, I do think that the number of templates available within the tool could be expanded upon as they seem somewhat limited in comparison to some of the other design focused platforms and I have experienced occasional lag when creating video content.
From a collaborative standpoint, the features provided by Simplified were adequate for my team of 5, although I could see how larger teams may find them somewhat lacking. Considering the cost of the tool and the fact that it replaces 2-3 other subscriptions that we currently have, I believe that Simplified provides a great deal of value. While it’s not perfect, it certainly makes my workflow more productive.
