01 Is INSIDE any Good? My expert Review
As a veteran investor who has utilized a fair number of financial research services, I have to say that my experience with Insider has been primarily positive. There were a few elements that immediately stood out to me, such as the level of depth and clarity of insight I received based on their output. There were so many times when I would refer to their newsletters to comprehend how to make sense of some tough market conditions like we have seen the past couple of years with the economy. It was nice to have transparent and straightforward thoughts on these dynamics helping me sift through all of the emotional noise and think clearly without the fluff and bias.
One moment that reinforced my respect was when I was looking for investment positions in sectors that were being impacted heavily by inflation, and the detailed analysis from Insider helped provide a different lens. I discovered unfortunate undervalued pockets of the market that mainstream research ignored. Their analysis was beneficial for figuring out how to pivot my portfolio, which led to better overall returns.
However, I would echo that the one downside could be that Insider expects extensive time and effort from their users. The research itself - along with the newsletter - provides so much material that it would be difficult to read at a glance, as it deserves attention with thoughtfulness. When exploring the deep value investment themes in the newsletter, I need to carve out a few hours every week to come to grips with the implications of their research.
Also, while I appreciate being able to perform my own due diligence based on thematic insights, some investors may feel like the lack of specific stock recommendations are limiting. If someone is looking for ideas and direct advisement to align with their investment approach, risk tolerance or financial goals, Insider is unlikely to meet this need.
Overall, my outlook is quite positive for Insider due to their educational value and transparent research style. The service is a solid option for active investors who will allocate time to deeply understand trends, and want to take on the independent responsibility for applying the research to their portfolio.

I've used many investment newsletters over the years with disappointing results, but I must say Capitalist Exploits is the best I've ever come across and is incomparable to other services. It's not a conventional newsletter. All recommendations are meticulously researched and all the research is shared, allowing you to understand the reasoning behind the suggestions. The service includes a unique forum in Slack where all members can exchange their views and experiences. The actual newsletter is insightful and is written in a straightforward, politically incorrect manner, which is a refreshing change in this overly sensitive world. I would certainly recommend it and plan to renew my subscription when the time comes.
