Brilliant Idea, Smooth Interface, User-Friendly, Yet Buggy with Limited Assessments
My account manager only contacted me to ask for a review, ignoring my technical issues. I was able to start using the software quickly, but then lost time due to several bugs. I found the system easy and quick to implement and was impressed with its ability to accurately assess my MBTI type with few questions. The price was reasonable for a small business. However, the assessments were hard to differentiate between candidates. I added some custom questions that weren't HTML friendly, which invalidated the entire assessment. I had to ask the candidate to retake the assessment, which reflected poorly on me. Tech support had to fix my specific test, but I'm worried about whether they will re-code the platform to accept multiple 'spaces' in a question. I feel the platform is too new to be reliable. Tech support didn't provide me with another credit after an assessment was invalidated. The tests were too difficult for more junior positions and there were few options to customize the delivery of.

Exploring TestGorilla: A Worthwhile Investment for Candidate Assessment
I recently had the opportunity to try out TestGorilla by setting up a free account and sending a test to a candidate. The following day, I encountered a minor hiccup where I couldn't access the test. However, I found this to be a great opportunity to interact with their chat bot. Although its responses were limited, it was a unique experience. This little adventure gave me and the candidate a chance to learn more about the system. Considering this as a part of their learning curve, I believe the $16 per month could be a worthwhile investment for their services.

Utilizing TestGorilla for External Developer Recruitment
I am overall very satisfied with TestGorilla. It has assisted me in finding the right developers for my projects, simplifying and speeding up the hiring process, particularly when dealing with numerous applicants for a single job ad. The software is user-friendly and provides a wide range of tests to select from. Inviting candidates is easy and monitoring their progress throughout the process is straightforward. I also value the feature that enables us to request a video presentation from the candidates. However, I think it would be helpful if we could benchmark the scores with an average for a better comparison of results. The vendor has responded positively to this suggestion, stating that benchmarks are on the way.
