  • Complex database control: Some users have found the database control to be complicated, particularly the data import and export process. This can slow down the development process and increase the learning curve

  • Lack of support for desktop version: The desktop version of WaveMaker, particularly the 6.7.0 RELEASE, is no longer supported. This has disappointed some users who found the desktop version to be exceptional.

Rapid Leave Management System Development for Our Startup with WaveMaker

I find WaveMaker faster, more feature-rich, and efficient than other aPaaS providers. I managed to create a Leave Management software in just weeks. However, the cost can be steep, particularly for a startup like mine. I hope they reconsider their pricing model. I appreciate their responsiveness and plan to continue using and exploring WaveMaker.

Wavemaker: The Ultimate Development Platform Outshines Open Source

I discovered Wavemaker as a hidden gem among software development platforms. In my search for website or software development tools, I often found a confusing mix of tools used inconsistently to create a workflow, including everything from database schema tools to front end, back end, and security, all requiring significant time and effort. My project was to create a video sharing service. I evaluated various platforms like WordPress, Drupal, and others that worked with AWS, CloudFront. I chose Wavemaker mainly because it didn't require any installation or dependence on numerous plugins and modules like WordPress or Drupal. I wanted to create a custom application but was limited by time and budget. I tested many RAD (rapid application development) environments but found them lacking in standardization of libraries like jQuery, HTML5, or multi-platform support like iOS, Android, and web. I tried almost every language including PHP, but ultimately chose Java.
