Quotewerks: Packed with Features, Awaiting Some Enhancements
Quotewerks has many great features, but I feel it's hindered by a GUI that seems to be developed in the 8s. The interface often lacks intuitiveness, and certain screens, field sizes, and templates aren't easily customizable. Despite this, the program has improved our quoting process significantly. However, it requires entering opportunities in Quotewerks rather than in our CRM, which I wish it would allow. When my admin staff creates quotes for sales reps, the opportunity is marked as being owned by the admin, which I then have to manually correct. Changing the sales rep on the quote doesn't update the owner of the opportunity in the CRM, which is a flexibility I wish it had. When using Quote Valet, there's an option to pay immediately with ACH and credit card. It's great that ACH is now allowed, but I'm disappointed that I can't customize the wording for the cash discount or additional fee for credit card use. Despite these issues, I continue to use and appreciate the software, though I do have several wishes for its improvement.
