Top-tier Tool for Test-Case Management
As a QA engineer, I find TestRail extremely helpful. It now integrates with JIRA, simplifying project and testcase management and eliminating the need for separate tracking. TestRail allows easy management of test-suites, test-cases, and test-runs, which is beneficial for maintaining agile methodology in projects. It also supports the export/import of test-cases from xml, csv, and xls files. The software lets me define milestones, which are useful for maintaining release-wise goals. I can set the expected duration and priority for a test-case. The representation and reporting are the software's best features, as I can view the progress of the test-run in various formats like pie-charts. However, I feel that test results should be editable in some cases. The vendor responded to my feedback, appreciating it and informing me that test results can now be modified by administrators, but any test modifications must still take place.
