01 Is Paycor any Good? My expert Review
Paycor is a fantastic and reliable platform that expedited and simplified payroll and employee management. The built-in self-service features allow my employees to access and manage their information (including their leave of absence requests) and pay stubs independently and has simplified my life (especially with the transition to working remotely). The self-service feature makes Paycor a time saver and reduces errors with its easy to read design and self-service technology.
I do run into performance issues occasionally during the busy end of the month payroll. This can sometimes lead to a frustrating period of anxiety and stress with deadlines but thankfully not on a regular basis. Users also get frustrated with some of the processes, such as reporting on complex reports and saving the data sometimes. However, the ability to quickly recruit and onboard our workforce with total integration through Paycor was phenomenal and made rapid-expansion of our workforce easier than we thought possible (although we were deeply involved in ensuring we had our processing for particular cases [such as tax deductions] setup). Outside of a few cases when we reached out to support (who didn’t necessarily always give us the direction we needed either), we could rely on Paycor to handle the complexities of payroll once we set it up for onboarding.
Paycor has a user friendly design and provides a complete and functional system. If customer service responsiveness is improved and performance could hold up during the peak usage times, I believe Paycor could be an even more effective HR management system. However, for a one-stop, affordable, and reliable, HR management system, I would not hesitate to recommend Paycor for your HR needs.

PayCor's Proactive Response to Processing Error Reinforces Trust
On November 3, 223, I had an interesting interaction with The Clearing House. They assured me that a minor processing error that had affected deposits and transfers at some banks was completely resolved. I was impressed by their prompt response and transparency. In the spirit of maintaining clear communication, I reached out to PayCor, our payroll processor, to discuss the duplicate credits that had occurred due to their vendor's error. I was pleasantly surprised by their immediate acknowledgment of the issue. They were open and honest about the situation, which I greatly appreciated. PayCor suggested a practical solution - withholding the duplicate amount from the next paycheck. This seemed like a fair and straightforward way to handle the situation. They also gave me the option to return the duplicates under ACH rules, which showed their flexibility and willingness to accommodate different solutions. What really stood out to me was that PayCor did not debit any additional funds for the duplicate credits sent to employee accounts. This showed me that they truly value their clients and are committed to maintaining trust and integrity in their business relationships. While the situation was not ideal, I was impressed by PayCor's proactive approach and their commitment to finding a solution. Their response has reinforced my trust in their services, and I look forward to continuing our partnership into 224 and beyond.

Experiencing the Ease and Efficiency of Paycor
I really value Paycor as it consolidates all pay information for our team. Our staff can easily access their past paystubs, PTO accrual, hours worked, and schedule without having to use different platforms. Paycor is user-friendly and can be accessed from any computer, allowing our employees to clock in and out from anywhere. It also effectively tracks PTO, ensuring our employees are always aware of their available vacation hours. However, it does take some time to get used to Paycor due to its various tabs and subsections. Sometimes, it takes a few extra clicks to find what you're looking for. I appreciate the vendor's response to my feedback and their dedication to improving the user experience.

I find the Paycor platform intuitive and easy to use. I'm able to customize my dashboard for quick access to frequently used information. It meets all our HR technology needs, providing payroll, scheduling, recruiting, and more in one system. However, the software can be "clunky" at times, with issues in reporting as reports are hard to store and often fail to run. I also find the customer service lacking, often feeling ignored. Despite these issues, we regularly use Paycor for all our business communications, including hiring, timekeeping, onboarding, and payroll. The vendor responded to my review, acknowledging the convenience of their system and apologizing for the issues with reporting and customer service. They assured me they are working on improving these areas and expressed appreciation for my feedback and business.
