When I started my business in 2014, I had a particular need. I experimented with various platforms, including Salesforce, before finding Sellsy, which surpassed them all. It's intuitive and provides a growing array of solutions that boost my business's professionalism and efficiency. It also gives me the ability to quickly send quotes and respond to clients and prospects before my competitors. I'm a big fan of this website and highly recommend it. However, sometimes the extra features take some time to fully comprehend, but I think that's to be expected.

My goal with Sellsy was to acquire an efficient software to save time in managing my campaigns independently and to clearly track my client follow-ups. My fear was purchasing this license online! The result: First contact on 5/1/223, remote training for 1.5 hours per week, independence after 1 month. The biggest plus: a direct referent via email and phone for any doubts, accessibility from mobile, tablet, computer. Meetings, exhibitions, phone, email... direct quotes and clear, simplified prospect management. It's perfect for me!

When I first began using Sellsy, I found it simple and user-friendly. However, as I continued to use it daily, I realized it was missing certain capabilities and some key functionalities were either absent or not functioning properly. It's relatively easy to use and the collaboration feature is beneficial, fulfilling about 75% of my needs. However, the support is subpar, only accessible via chat, and there have been no new features in the past two years. Many daily issues remain unresolved. I chose Sellsy over Axonaut because the latter lacked key features like a team calendar. Although this feature exists in Sellsy, its limitations make it ineffective. I switched to Sellsy from Incwo due to its complexity and poor support. The vendor responded to my feedback, stating that they are in discussions with their product teams to address the issues I highlighted. They assured me they would follow up on this matter.

Sellsy's Decline: Time to Explore Alternatives
I've been using Sellsy for around 3 to 4 years and have witnessed its evolution. Initially, it was a good tool with a startup vibe and interesting developments for a reasonable price of €22/month. It even had a fantastic feature where you could link PrestaShop to Sellsy. However, Sellsy shifted its focus towards larger companies, neglecting the small and medium businesses that contributed to its growth. Sellsy transformed into a profit-driven entity that was hard to sell. They began to exploit their customers. For example, when Sellsy introduced a "website" module for online sales, they discontinued the PrestaShop integration and forced us to use their more expensive solution. The cost of the solution itself also gradually increased. It rose from €264/month to €700/month with the addition of some modules, and in 2016, it skyrocketed to €1500 for the same services. They also removed the option.

Sellsy is a CRM that I have implemented for several of my clients. The configuration allows a great deal of flexibility, and I particularly appreciate the Made in France aspect of this French CRM, hosted in France by a French host. In the era of sovereign cloud, this is a powerful argument. The support service is both friendly and good advice, they are easily reachable even for complex questions.

As a Sellsy user, I appreciate its comprehensive business platform capabilities, including email management, inventory management, and marketing. However, it falls short in certain areas, especially for international businesses. The main issue is its lack of multi-currency auto conversion on purchase orders, making the sales and purchasing aspect ineffective for my needs. I'm also disappointed with the Google Apps integrations. The contact sync is not a true sync, but a periodic copy of Sellsy contact data into Google. The calendar sync is limited as it doesn't allow for the creation of meetings in Sellsy that sync with Google Calendar. Furthermore, the email client is severely limited due to its handling of email attachments. For instance, if I attach a file to an email and send it to a lead, I can't attach the same file from my computer to a new email because Sellsy will reject the file.
