Superior EDR with SentinelOne's S1-Technology
The software, s1-technology, is excellent at detecting new threats due to its behavioral model and also supports signatures for known threats, offering a comprehensive solution. I find managing the software straightforward, and it allows me to create different groups to apply various policy sets to endpoints. It's easy to implement, and the policies are simple to customize. I particularly appreciate the Host Firewall feature, and the Remote shells that enable quick incident investigations. However, I believe the Host Firewall could be improved for better web traffic control. I chose SentinelOne over Falcon because, even though Falcon is more expensive, SentinelOne offers more features and the cost difference isn't significant.

I have a highly positive opinion of the s1-technology software. I appreciate the product as it offers us significant assurance in safeguarding our network assets. It's simple to implement, offers extensive insight into threats and their lifecycles, and possesses an impressively flexible exclusion feature. However, some features we want are not included in the Core SKU. We opted for SentinelOne over Sophos due to performance and compatibility problems we encountered with the latter. We transitioned to SentinelOne from 'Classic AV' to obtain a genuine EDR.
