01 Is Figma any Good? My expert Review
As a designer frequently collaborating with diverse teams, I've found Figma to be a real game-changer for quickly prototyping and breathing life into fresh ideas. Recently, while crafting an interactive mobile app prototype for a client pitch, its intuitive tools let me whip up clickable mockups in no time. Stakeholders instantly grasped the concept and provided swift feedback—saving us heaps of precious time and hassle.
Another standout feature is Figma's top-notch collaboration capabilities. During a recent website redesign, our geographically dispersed team could easily sync up thanks to real-time editing, smooth commenting, and clear version tracking. Misunderstandings became rare occurrences, making our workflow smoother than ever.
That said, it's not always smooth sailing. I've occasionally wrestled with Figma's somewhat inflexible file management system—especially when juggling numerous iterations within large-scale projects. Navigating between files sometimes felt like wading through mud, slowing down productivity. Plus, when working on heavy-duty projects packed with complex artboards or detailed vector graphics, performance hiccups popped up now and then, briefly interrupting my creative flow.
Overall though, these minor snags hardly overshadow my overwhelmingly positive experience with Figma. Its robust prototyping features, seamless developer handoff process, and unbeatable collaborative environment more than make up for any shortcomings. Simply put—Figma has firmly secured its place as an indispensable tool in my daily design toolkit.

I'm absolutely thrilled with Figma's collaborative approach! We have 2 designers on our team, but the software allows us to share our work with up to 9 people! Lacking in Reliability and User Interface: A Review on Figma
I find it hard to believe that popular and industry-standard interface designing tools like these could have such poor user interfaces. At one point, on a smaller laptop screen, I couldn't even see the login button on their login page in my browser. There's a huge irony here. I also have some doubts about its reliability. I'm in a work situation where I need to access files I'm importing from the web on the browser. After two or three failed login attempts on a somewhat slow connection, they've essentially locked me out of my account for an hour. This is an unnecessary, poorly implemented, and excessive security measure that could prove costly in crunch situations.
