01 Is Dropbox Sign (ex. HelloSign) any Good? My expert Review
I have used Dropbox Sign very much for contracts and agreements done remotely and it has been relatively seamless. The interface is really easy to use—there is no fumbling around with menus or buttons that don’t make sense. I worked on one document where I needed multiple signatures from people all over the world in different time zones and Dropbox Sign made it feel like we were all in the same room together—what could have taken days was done in hours.
I especially like the audit trail. It’s like you have a video camera on your documents—you can always see who signed what and when. To me, that’s important to keep things clear in my own mind to save confusion and headaches with sensitive documents like employment contracts or legal documents.
That said, it’s not all beer and skittles. The one challenge I have faced is with integrations with other tools, like our CRM. Having said that, I have also manually copied some information over which is annoying to say the least. And, while I'm on the subject of annoying, with other trickier documents, it can be finicky having to align the signature boxes just perfect.
That said, it is decent value for money. It has enough features for the cost that won’t make your wallet cry which is handy if you are a small business or freelancer on a shoestring budget.
So, like any application has its warts, primarily with integrations and little tech glitches, but I think the overall ease of design, great tracking features and overall value makes Dropbox Sign a good option for getting digital signatures that can be delivered quickly.
