Dropped my separate accounting software
I run a small joinery business and used to pay for accounting software on top of my bank account. Tide's built-in accounting tools are MTD-ready, so I filed my last VAT return directly through the app without paying for anything extra. That alone saves me around £25 a month. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that transaction fees on the free plan add up if you're moving money often, so I ended up upgrading. Still cheaper overall though.
