01 What is Lightroom?

Lightroom can be a multi-functional photo editing tool that can assist small businesses with staying cohesive and recognizable in their visual identity. By using it's simple sliders, and best-in-class color-grading features, you can easily adjust the exposure, contrast and color tones in your photos, to achieve a consistent look in your product photography or promotional materials. Additionally, Lightroom's batch editing will save you so much time editing multiple photos at once, which can be helpful to business owners, when they need to make changes quickly within their workflow. Also, Lightroom's overall organization structure, such as keyword tagging, and intuitive cataloging structure is ideal for small business owners looking to organize their photo library into searchable libraries, providing you with time back to market your business more efficiently.

Smooth End-to-End Workflow (Desktop + Mobile)

What I like most is how practical the whole workflow feels. Import, cull, flag, sync settings across a shoot, then export in different sizes for web and print without much friction. The mobile app is also better than I expected for quick edits on the train

    Fast, Precise AI Masking

Lightroom has become my main photo editor because the masking tools are fast and actually precise enough for real work. I use Select Subject and the sky mask all the time, then fine-tune exposure and color without having to jump into Photoshop for every image

The healing and content-aware remove tools aren’t perfect, but for sensor dust and small distractions they’re fast, and paired with geometry corrections they make real estate edits way less painful

    AI Denoise That Preserves Detail

The new-ish AI Denoise is a legit improvement for high ISO shots, and it’s easy to apply selectively so I’m not smoothing skin or losing fine texture where I want detail

"Good for retouching but not for creating a book"

"It works well for retouching, which is the core function of the software, so that seems normal. However, I strongly advise against using the "livre" module, which is an absolute horror. "
