My top 3 Docusign alternatives
By Jean-Loup Karst, Co-founder @Secret
I have been examining different options instead of Docusign and found three that are quite impressive.
Acrobat Sign
Adobe Sign is a good alternative to DocuSign, providing an easy to use cloud-based e-signature tool with capabilities to send, sign, track, and manage documents from your browser or mobile device. It's particularly useful for organizations that have contracts or agreements as part of their regular business. For example, real estate agencies can simplify the signing process for property agreements with clients by utilizing Adobe Sign.
Overall, Adobe Sign is simple to use and integrates well with other Adobe tools, which can be a bonus if you are already comfortable with Adobe products. DocuSign remains a popular option but Adobe Sign has very similar features and reliability and is something to consider.
PandaDoc
PandaDoc is another excellent alternative. This platform not only allows you to collect electronic signatures but also helps in creating, approving, and managing digital documents. It's perfect for sales proposals, quotes, and contracts. For instance, a sales team can use PandaDoc to create personalized proposals for each client and get them signed electronically, speeding up the entire sales process.
Dropbox Sign (ex. HelloSign)
HelloSign is a user-friendly platform for those who need a simple and straightforward e-signature solution. It provides secure online signatures and can be integrated with other services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, and more. A good example of its use could be in an HR department where they need to get employment contracts signed by new hires. With HelloSign, they can easily send out the contracts and have them signed digitally in no time.
List of Alternatives to Docusign
Here are some of Docusign's top competitors in the Digital Signature category: Acrobat Sign, PandaDoc, Dropbox Sign (ex. HelloSign) or signNow.
Acrobat Sign, part of Adobe's suite of tools, streamulates the process of electronic signatures for documents. This robust and secure platform allows users to send, sign, track, and manage documents effortlessly from any device.

An Unexpected Learning Experience with Adobe Sign
I reached out to Adobe Sign within the stipulated 14-day period and, to my surprise, I was still billed. However, this gave me an opportunity to interact with their customer service, which was quite an experience. They informed me about a cancellation fee, which initially seemed a bit unusual, but then I realized it's a common practice in many industries. What's more, even though I didn't utilize their services as they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, I appreciate the fact that this experience has made me more informed. It's interesting how sometimes, things not going as planned can lead to unexpected learning. So, in a way, their oversight has actually benefited me.

Why is Acrobat Sign a good alternative to Docusign?
I find DocuSign to be a great alternative to Adobe Sign due to its user-friendly interface and robust features. It's incredibly easy to upload documents, add signature fields and send them for signing. DocuSign also offers a wide range of integrations with other software, such as Google Drive, Dropbox and Salesforce, making it more convenient for businesses that use these platforms.
Moreover, DocuSign's mobile app is very intuitive and allows me to sign documents on the go. Its security measures are top-notch, ensuring that my documents are protected and legally binding. Lastly, I appreciate the tracking feature which keeps me updated on the status of my sent documents. Considering all these aspects, I believe DocuSign provides a comprehensive and efficient solution for digital signatures.
What are the differences between Acrobat Sign and Docusign?
I find that both DocuSign and Adobe Sign are excellent tools for electronic signatures, but they have some notable differences. DocuSign provides a more user-friendly interface, which makes it easier to navigate and use. It also offers better mobile support, allowing you to sign documents on the go. Alternatively, Adobe Sign integrates seamlessly with other Adobe products, which can be a significant advantage if you already use or plan to use these tools.
Moreover, Adobe Sign supports more languages (over 35) compared to DocuSign (14). In terms of pricing, Adobe Sign tends to be more expensive than DocuSign. However, both platforms provide different plans tailored to individual and business needs. Lastly, while both offer robust security measures, DocuSign has a slight edge with its ISO 27001 certification.

Streamlined Onboarding With Sign + Payment
PandaDoc has been reliable for client onboarding. We send agreements, collect signatures, and request payment in one flow, which is easier for clients than juggling multiple links. We found it through Joinsecret and ended up getting around 20% off for the first year, which helped while we were still testing new tools

Why is PandaDoc a good alternative to Docusign?
I find DocuSign to be a great alternative to PandaDoc for several reasons. Firstly, DocuSign is recognized globally, which makes it more reliable and trustworthy for international transactions. It is also incredibly user-friendly, with a clear and intuitive interface that allows even the least tech-savvy users to navigate easily.
Secondly, DocuSign provides robust security measures that ensure all your documents are safe and private. It complies with the most stringent global security standards, giving you peace of mind when sharing sensitive information.
Lastly, DocuSign offers a wider range of features compared to PandaDoc. For instance, it has advanced features like bulk sending, recipient reassigning, and signer attachments that can greatly enhance your document management efficiency. Therefore, if you're looking for a comprehensive and secure solution for your e-signature needs, DocuSign is an excellent choice.

Why is Dropbox Sign (ex. HelloSign) a good alternative to Docusign?
I find DocuSign to be a great alternative to HelloSign due to its robust and versatile features. DocuSign offers a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to upload documents, add signers, and send for signatures. It also offers advanced features such as bulk sending, which allows you to send the same document to many recipients at once, and power forms, which enable you to create self-service documents for signature collection. In terms of security, DocuSign provides bank-grade security and complies with eSignature laws around the world. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with popular business tools like Salesforce, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office. Its pricing plans are flexible and cater to different business needs from individual professionals to large corporations. Therefore, I believe DocuSign is an excellent alternative for electronic signatures.
What are the differences between Dropbox Sign (ex. HelloSign) and Docusign?
I have found several differences between DocuSign and HelloSign. Firstly, DocuSign has more extensive features and integrations, including Salesforce and Google Docs. It also provides more advanced security measures like tamper-evident seals and audit trails. However, DocuSign's pricing plans are higher compared to HelloSign.
On the other hand, HelloSign is simpler and more user-friendly. It offers a clean interface that's easy to navigate, making it ideal for individuals or small businesses that need straightforward eSignature solutions. HelloSign also offers free unlimited documents for the first 30 days. However, it lacks some of the robust features found in DocuSign.
In summary, while DocuSign offers more comprehensive features and advanced security, HelloSign is a cost-effective solution with an intuitive interface.

Why is Jotform a good alternative to Docusign?
I find JotForm to be a great alternative to DocuSign because of its versatility and user-friendly interface. While DocuSign specializes in electronic signatures, JotForm offers a broader range of services, including form creation, data collection, and document signing. It is not only an e-signature platform but also a comprehensive online form builder. This means I can create custom forms for various purposes such as surveys, registrations, or orders and then easily collect and manage the responses.
Another advantage of JotForm is its affordability. Unlike DocuSign which can be quite pricey especially for small businesses or individual users, JotForm offers a free basic plan and its paid plans are more budget-friendly. Furthermore, it integrates well with many other software tools I use regularly which greatly enhances my workflow efficiency.

Seamless Integration: OptiSigns Makes Transition Effortless
I was pleasantly surprised by the seamless integration of OptiSigns with our existing systems, making the transition smooth and hassle-free
July 28, 2024
Why is OptiSigns a good alternative to Docusign?
I find OptiSigns a compelling alternative to DocuSign due to its flexibility and affordability. OptiSigns offers a comprehensive digital signage solution suitable for various businesses, from small start-ups to large corporations. It's not limited to just document signing but also provides features like content scheduling, automatic updates, and real-time monitoring. This makes it versatile for different business needs.
OptiSigns also stands out for its cost-effectiveness. The pricing plans are flexible, with options that cater to different budget sizes. This makes it an excellent choice for businesses seeking value for money.
Additionally, OptiSigns has an intuitive interface that is easy to navigate, making it user-friendly even for those with limited technical knowledge. Its customer support is also commendable, with quick response times and helpful assistance.
What are the differences between OptiSigns and Docusign?
I've had the opportunity to use both OptiSigns and DocuSign, and I've noticed several differences between the two. DocuSign is primarily a digital signature service, allowing users to sign, send, and manage documents electronically. It's ideal for legal contracts, agreements, and other official documents that require secure and legally binding signatures.
On the other hand, OptiSigns is a digital signage software designed for displaying content on screens in various settings like offices, restaurants, or retail stores. It allows users to manage the content displayed on these screens remotely. This includes images, videos, social media feeds, websites, and more.
While both are digital solutions aimed at improving business processes, their primary functions differ significantly: DocuSign focuses on document management and e-signatures while OptiSigns is centered around digital display management.

It’s a smart alternative to juggling PDFs, DocuSign, and invoicing tools. Below is my review, including pros and cons, best-fit users, and alternatives.

Proposify: Empowering Entrepreneurial Growth with Scalability and Robust Features
As an entrepreneur, I appreciate Proposify's scalability. The software grows with my business needs and its robust features continue to support my evolving proposal requirements
August 19, 2024
Why is Proposify a good alternative to Docusign?
I believe Proposify is a good alternative to DocuSign based on its unique features and capabilities. Unlike DocuSign, Proposify is not just an electronic signature tool, it's a comprehensive proposal management software. This means you are able to create, send, track, and e-sign proposals all in one platform. It offers a variety of customizable templates making the proposal creation process easier and quicker. Additionally, Proposify provides real-time notifications when a client opens, views, or signs a proposal, enabling users to follow up promptly. The platform also integrates seamlessly with popular CRM, project management and invoicing tools which is a great advantage for businesses. While DocuSign excels in electronic signatures, Proposify offers a more holistic approach to proposal management.
What are the differences between Proposify and Docusign?
I have used both Proposify and DocuSign, and I've found that they serve different purposes. Proposify is a proposal software that helps businesses create, send, track, and e-sign winning proposals, contracts, and agreements. It is mainly geared towards sales teams, helping them streamline their proposal process. It offers features like content library, customizable templates, interactive pricing, workflow automation and integration with CRM tools.
Conversely, DocuSign is a tool for handling electronic agreements and signatures. It allows users to sign documents digitally, eliminating the need for physical paperwork. It has strong features in terms of security and compliance, and it's used across many industries for tasks like contract signing, consent gathering, and more. While Proposify does have e-signature capabilities, it's not as comprehensive as DocuSign in this regard.
In essence, Proposify is more focused on the proposal creation process while DocuSign specializes in digital signatures and agreement management.

Exploring RevvSales: A User's Perspective
I initially used Revv to create a one-pager for my business idea and a business plan. I found the templates very helpful and was able to complete my work easily and quickly. I liked the instant templates to customize, the ease of accessibility, and the wide range of templates for almost any use. However, I found a lack of one-click video tutorials, the platform was a bit laggy, and there was too much to start with. A detailed tutorial would have been very helpful. After my review, the vendor thanked me and informed me about their Revv-101 playlist of quick product walkthroughs and extensive product documentation. They also offered to have a conversation to help me understand the product better and invited me to contact them for any questions. They mentioned that there's live chat available on their website for instant help.
