Regrettably Disappointed with UKG-Pro
I used to be a big fan of UltiPro and Kronos, considering them superior to Workday or SAP in terms of payroll systems. They were user-friendly and had excellent support, and I didn't need to hire a lot of expensive IT staff to manage my department. However, this is no longer the case. Getting support has become nearly impossible, the user interface has deteriorated, and the product feels disjointed. Simple tasks now take forever to complete, similar to Workday or SAP. It's hard to get in touch with the Tax department and I've had tickets open for months without a response. I feel helpless as I can't make necessary updates myself. I'm approaching year-end and I'm worried about reporting accurately. I don't understand why they removed the ability for users to update taxing jurisdictions. Despite escalating my case, I've received no response. It's a nightmare and given the choice, I would now choose a different vendor. However, I do love the reporting capabilities.

Adore Ultipro - Reporting Could Be Simpler
I find the ukg-pro software user-friendly and their customer service is top-notch. I appreciate everything about the company, especially their staff who consistently exceed expectations. They offer excellent retention tools for regular customers and are always receptive to customer feedback. The reporting and BI functionality is superb for advanced users or companies with a dedicated HRIS team. However, for small businesses with fewer than 500 employees, it can be difficult to quickly achieve desired results. I wish they offered simpler reporting like SuccessFactors or ADP, in addition to BI for advanced users. I chose UKG Pro based on the feedback, customer experience, and company values. I switched to UKG Pro because I needed to move away from the PEO.
