I find the user interface of Cascade-Strategy to be intuitive, allowing me to create instant, real-time outputs for assessing, tracking, and discussing business strategy without needing standalone PowerPoint slides. The tool encourages discussion and adoption of business strategy across the organization, aligning goals with strategic pillars. This promotes a broader business discussion, interrogation, and contribution to the strategic direction, instead of it being imposed from above. However, the tool can't be used half-heartedly. To fully benefit from it, it must be embraced by the entire organization. This isn't a criticism of the tool itself, but an observation that it requires the organization's buy-in to be effective.

I find the Cascade Strategy software extremely beneficial for our business needs. It offers transparency of goals and aligns priorities, enhancing accountability for all staff. We selected Cascade as it aligns with our strategic planning approach, enabling each of our 20 departments to manage their own strategic plan while maintaining visibility and alignment with the overall business strategy. One of the major advantages of this system is its transparency. With a single click, I can evaluate the health of the organization based on its strategic objectives and goals. It's user-friendly and customizable, allowing anyone to set up team dashboards quickly for meetings or general communication. The snapshot reports are excellent for sharing with others outside the system and provide a current Gantt chart of project status. However, there are instances when I encounter features that are not present in the system but would be beneficial. The chat function is a fantastic feature that allows me to communicate directly with the Cascade team and receive real-time responses to any queries.

I value Cascade Strategy as it provides a comprehensive approach to project management. I've been looking for a project portfolio management app that begins with strategic planning and Cascade meets this need. It combines strategy planning and execution, which I believe should be inseparable. So far, I haven't found anything to dislike, although I do wish it had native integration with Google Apps, especially Google Calendar, Tasks, and Gmail. I would suggest others to try it, as I was so impressed that I subscribed just two days into the trial. The app has assisted me with comprehensive strategic planning and execution.
