My top 3 Hired alternatives
By Frédéric Laffont, Chief Technology Officer
Greenhouse
Greenhouse is another excellent alternative. It's an applicant tracking system and recruiting software designed to optimize your entire recruiting process. It helps in finding better candidates, conducting more focused interviews, and making data-driven hiring decisions. For instance, a company can use Greenhouse to create a structured interview process. This ensures that every candidate is evaluated on the same criteria, reducing bias and improving hiring decisions.
Zoho Recruit
Zoho Recruit is a user-friendly applicant tracking system that helps staffing agencies and HR departments track talents, applicants, and recruitment processes. It's particularly useful for managing job postings, tracking applicants, and storing candidate information all in one place. For example, a staffing agency can use Zoho Recruit to manage multiple client requirements and track which candidates have been submitted for each role.
ZipRecruiter
ZipRecruiter is a popular online employment platform designed to simplify the hiring process for both businesses and job seekers. It uses AI-powered matching technology to quickly connect employers with qualified candidates. If a company needs to hire a software developer, they can post the job on ZipRecruiter, which then automatically distributes the listing across over 100 different job boards. This helps maximize the visibility of the job posting. Job seekers can easily upload their resumes and apply directly through ZipRecruiter, allowing employers to conveniently manage and review applications all in one place.
ZipRecruiter is a solid choice for businesses looking to streamline their recruitment process. Its user friendly interface and extensive network of job boards significantly increase the reach and visibility of job postings. The AI-driven matching technology helps employers quickly identify qualified candidates, saving valuable time and effort. It may not be the cheapest option available, but its ease of use, wide distribution capabilities, and effective candidate-matching features make it well worth considering for most businesses looking to hire efficiently.

Outstanding Post-Purchase Support
I had initially paid a deposit for a greenhouse but had to cancel my order due to unforeseen circumstances. I spoke with Ian Willstead who immediately agreed to refund the full amount of £2,578 without any issues. My experience with the company's after-sales service has been excellent. I greatly appreciated receiving a full refund immediately. I wish the business continued success. Thank you very much. - Rick

Why is Greenhouse a good alternative to Hired?
As someone who has utilized both Hired and Greenhouse, I find Hired to be a great alternative due to several reasons. Firstly, Hired offers a more candidate-centric approach. Its platform is designed to allow job seekers to showcase their skills and experiences comprehensively, making it easier for employers to find the right fit. Secondly, Hired's algorithm matches candidates with potential employers, saving time and effort in the hiring process. Thirdly, it provides transparency about salary ranges, reducing awkward negotiations. Lastly, Hired offers a personalized talent advocate who guides candidates throughout their job search journey. While Greenhouse is excellent for its applicant tracking system, Hired's unique features make it an attractive alternative for both job seekers and employers.
What are the differences between Greenhouse and Hired?
As an HR professional, I can affirm that Hired and Greenhouse are two different tools used in the recruitment process, each with their own unique features. Hired is a career marketplace that connects tech talent with innovative companies. It focuses on the job seeker's experience, enabling them to showcase their skills and choose the opportunities they're interested in. Alternatively, Greenhouse is an applicant tracking system (ATS) used by employers to manage their hiring process. It offers features like job posting, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling and evaluation tools.
While both platforms aim to streamline the recruitment process, their primary difference lies in who they primarily serve. Hired is more candidate-centric, focusing on empowering job seekers, while Greenhouse is employer-centric, helping companies manage their hiring processes efficiently. Therefore, the choice between the two would depend on whether you're a job seeker or an employer.

An Exceptional System Indeed
I've been enjoying my experience with Zoho Recruit so far, even though I'm still learning how to use it. I appreciate the readily available full support that answers any questions, without having to wait on hold every time I call. I like the organization and accessibility of the system, either through Zoho itself or by embedding it in your website. However, I have an issue with the email syncing feature, as it doesn't sync all of my existing folders. This requires me to either use Zoho as my main email or constantly update two separate apps. I chose Zoho Recruit because it seemed more specialized towards recruitment, which is exactly what I need.

Why is Zoho Recruit a good alternative to Hired?
I believe that the service hired is a great alternative to Zoho Recruit due to several reasons. First, it offers a more intuitive user interface, making it easier for users to navigate through the platform. Additionally, it provides more comprehensive and customizable reporting features that help in better tracking and analyzing recruitment processes. Unlike Zoho Recruit, this service also integrates seamlessly with various other HR systems and platforms which enhances its functionality. Furthermore, it offers excellent customer support, ensuring any issues or queries are resolved promptly. Lastly, while Zoho Recruit's pricing can be steep for some businesses, the service hired offers more flexible and affordable pricing plans. Therefore, considering all these factors, I find the service hired to be a superior alternative to Zoho Recruit.
What are the differences between Zoho Recruit and Hired?
As a user, I find significant differences between Hired and Zoho Recruit. Hired is a career marketplace that connects tech talent with innovative companies. It primarily focuses on industries like software engineering, data science, and design, allowing candidates to showcase their skills and experience to potential employers. On the other hand, Zoho Recruit is an applicant tracking system and recruitment software designed for agencies and corporate HRs worldwide. It offers a comprehensive set of features including sourcing, resume management, and onboarding tools.
While Hired is more about creating a network where the tech industry's top talents can be found by potential employers, Zoho Recruit is more about managing recruitment processes efficiently. The choice between these two software would depend on whether your priority lies in networking and talent discovery or in streamlining recruitment operations.
Smartrecruiters brings value by providing a comprehensive and efficient platform for recruitment and hiring processes. Leveraging AI, it simplifies the hiring workflow, streamlines communication, and allows businesses to attract, evaluate, and hire the best candidates for their job openings.

Why is SmartRecruiters a good alternative to Hired?
I believe that Hired is a great alternative to SmartRecruiters because of its unique model and features. Unlike traditional recruitment platforms, Hired puts the candidate at the center of the hiring process. It allows candidates to showcase their skills and experience, and then companies apply to them, reversing the traditional recruitment process. It's more employer-centric, providing tools to create and post job ads, screen and evaluate applicants, and manage the entire hiring process. Exploring My Journey with CEIPAL ATS
I consider Ceipal to be the best ATS compared to others on the market. Its database is extremely useful for headhunting a pool of candidates. The job skill matching to candidate scorecards is effective. They've recently implemented AI, giving me a competitive advantage over other vendors. The time it takes to find a pool of candidates is impressively short. So far, I haven't encountered any negatives and I'm eager to see the full integration. I switched to CEIPAL ATS due to organizational changes.

Shine: A Competitive Edge in Recruitment
I think the Shine-com software is excellent. It provides a competitive advantage to our business and offers great service to our candidates and clients. However, the system could sometimes be more intuitive. I appreciate the vendor's response to my feedback, recognizing the need for a more intuitive system and their willingness to consider suggestions and improvements. They value my feedback and have asked me to report any major issues to my client success manager. I appreciate their response and the time they spent addressing my feedback.
