I initially tried OpenCart as an experiment and ended up loving it. I first heard about it from a friend and decided to give it a try, not expecting to be as impressed as I was. It's a free, open-source online store platform with great functions and features. I appreciate having control over it and being able to operate it myself. It's highly customizable with many add-ons. I have no dislikes about this platform and would highly recommend it.

From my perspective, it's also relatively easy to learn and manage independently. While it's not flawless, it outperforms its rivals in terms of cost-effective yet feature-packed eCommerce solutions. I would certainly endorse giving it a shot. It's extremely fast, offers numerous inexpensive extensions, and it's straightforward to grasp the basics. However, it lacks Prestashop's sophisticated plugin management, has cumbersome updates, and some users have reported subpar customer service, although I haven't personally encountered this.
