I have used Constant Contact quite a bit over the years and can rightfully say that it is reliable, easy-to-use, and really takes the "work" out of your email marketing campaigns. From simply preparing a local shop promo, to running larger campaigns, its scheduling and automation features save you time and effort. In addition, the analytics are a huge benefit — I recently ran a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization and was able to quickly, easily see, who opened our emails, who clicked on links, who engaged, etc., and adjust our strategy if necessary.
The customer service has always been a strong point for me, as well. When I had difficulties importing a large contact list for a client event, they walked me through the process step-by-step and we did not fall behind schedule. Immediate and knowledgeable help is what it is all about. If there is a downside, the price would be it (if you are a startup or small business and counting every penny). The social media integration is not the easiest to usar, and can be inconvenient when trying to coordinate posts across platforms.
Overall, I would continue to use Constant Contact, as it has been reliable, has great features, and has great service. It is one of the best solutions for an individual looking to prepare a professional email campaign(s) without pulling their hair out.

When it comes to email marketing and customer relationship management, ActiveCampaign and Constant Contact often find themselves in a head-to-head comparison. Though both serve similar end goals—helping businesses manage their email campaigns and customer relations—they have some stark differences that set them apart.
When it comes to automation and analytics, are the areas where ActiveCampaign excels. One of the biggest differences between the two is the level of automation sophistication that ActiveCampaign offers. With its CRM integrations and automation capabilities, ActiveCampaign allows businesses to create more personalized, automated customer journeys. It has a versatile set of automation tools that enable businesses to segment their audience more effectively and trigger actions based on a range of behaviors. In comparison, Constant Contact offers automation features but they are not as intricate as those found in ActiveCampaign. Moreover, ActiveCampaign has a robust...

Great Value with Templates and Solid Deliverability
We signed up after getting a reduced rate through Joinsecret that cut the cost in half for the first year, and that made it easier to justify switching, but the real reason we stayed was the simple template builder and decent deliverability

Constant Contact isn’t the most advanced tool I’ve tried, but for regular campaigns it’s dependable, and getting the Joinsecret discount for the first 12 months was a nice bonus while we figured out whether it matched our workflow

Easy Scheduling, Resends to Non-Openers, and Consistent Branding
We grabbed a Joinsecret offer that brought the first year down by half, which was helpful, but what stood out after that was how easy it was to schedule emails, resend to non-openers, and keep branding consistent across campaigns
