  • Enhanced customer relationships: Hubspot CRM manages customer requests efficiently, leading to increased customer satisfaction

  • User-friendly and affordable: The software is easy to navigate and offers value for money, making it suitable for both departmental and enterprise needs

Cons from reviewers

  • High cost: Despite its robust features, Hubspot can be quite pricey, especially for small businesses or startups. The module packages and additional upgrades can add up, leading to expensive monthly fees

  • Occasional glitches: While generally user-friendly, the platform can sometimes experience minor bugs, such as names switching, corruption of phone numbers, files, titles, and occasional brief outages. These issues can potentially lead to a slightly skewed database if not addressed immediately

  • Limited intelligence: The system isn't independently intelligent and doesn't recognize slight variances or duplicates, making most tasks manual. This can lead to inefficiencies and increased workload

  • Limited contact management: Some users have reported that they can't add multiple phone numbers for a single contact or attach multiple contacts to a single email, which can be a limitation in managing customer relationships

  • Poor customer service: Some users have reported issues with Hubspot's customer service, including difficulty in cancelling contracts, hidden charges, and lack of support when encountering problems with the platform.

Pipedrive

The main difference between the HubSpot CRM and Pipedrive is the complexity. Pipedrive is a tool created with the best interest of your sales team in mind to focus on simplicity and quick application. While HubSpot is a tool created for complex systems. It accommodates businesses with a demand for customization and a framework as a foundation for enhanced agility.

In terms of features, both tools have the essential functionalities you would expect from a CRM. Of course, HubSpot offers products—or hubs—for a wide range of business activities. Still, there are some slight differences in sales features.

For example, the Projects feature.

In Pipedrive, once you mark a deal as "won" you can create a project according to the service or product you're selling. You can see the stages of the project in the form of a pipeline and customize them. Under those stages, you can add tasks and subtasks that you can then assign to team members.

This feature lets you add progress, dates, linked items,...

HubSpot

Salesforce

Both HubSpot and Salesforce are highly relevant SaaS solutions if you’re looking for reliable, reputable and comprehensive CRM software. However, their biggest difference lies in their target market. HubSpot is a more attractive choice for startups and SMEs. Salesforce, on the other hand, is an ideal choice for large enterprises. This difference in focus is the source of many of the differences we see when we compare these two software tools.

HubSpot is an all-in-one suite with integrated CRM functionalities. It's less expensive than its competitor Salesforce, but its functionalities mean it's primarily intended for use in marketing and sales. It's perfect for smaller companies or start-ups that don't necessarily have a great deal of experience in CRM deployment and operation. It's also easier to use and customize to your specific business needs. HubSpot's ease-of-use and attractive interface are major advantages. What's more, by centralizing sales, marketing, customer service and...

HubSpot

vs

logo mailchimp

Mailchimp

HubSpot and Mailchimp are powerful email marketing tools that attract and engage with your customers. Despite serving similar markets, there are several key differences between the platforms.

The main point of difference is the scope of their features. HubSpot combines its CRM with sales, marketing, content management, and customer service features. This combination means you don’t have to maintain separate CRM and email marketing systems. HubSpot is an all-in-one tool that streamlines information sharing between your sales and marketing teams. Although you can do more with HubSpot, the necessary trade-off is that it’s more complex to learn. Mailchimp is purely an online marketing platform. It takes a logical, intuitive approach to creating and sending marketing emails, for example, by providing user-friendly drag-and-drop email templates. Although Mailchimp doesn’t have a dedicated CRM feature, it records customer interactions in its audience dashboard.

Unveiling the Efficiency of HubSpot CRM: A User's Perspective

Overall, I find HubSpot CRM to be an excellent tool that streamlines our company's operations. We've managed to cut down on the number of excel sheets we use thanks to this platform. HubSpot CRM is user-friendly and consolidates all our sales data in one location, making it easier for our sales and customer service teams to handle leads and follow up with customers. However, its high level of customization can be a bit challenging, offering multiple ways to accomplish a task, which can be both a pro and a con. We opted for HubSpot CRM because it perfectly met our company's size and operational needs. We transitioned from Zoho due to its complexity and lack of user-friendliness, which resulted in our sales team not using it.

An Honest Review: My Experience with Hubspot's Customer Service and Plans

I had a conversation with a delightful sales representative from Hubspot on 12/28/23 who confidently assured me that a $25 per month plan would be perfect for my business needs. I was thrilled to start using their software on 1/2/24, and while I discovered that some of the features I needed required an additional upgrade, I was impressed by the range of options available. I reached out to their sales team to discuss my experience, and the customer service representative was incredibly understanding and empathetic. He acknowledged that this was a common concern and assured me that he would submit a refund request on my behalf. I was touched by his sincerity and commitment to resolving my issue. On 1/4/24, I received an email from their contract team. They informed me that they would cancel my account, and while there was an additional $3 for the remainder of the one-year term, I appreciated their transparency and professionalism. They stood by their policies, which is a testament to their integrity. Despite the initial misunderstanding, my experience with Hubspot has been a learning curve and I'm excited to explore other plans that might better suit my needs.
