I've had a lot of experience with Pipedrive from the perspective of a CRM specialist, and really, it was all around good experience. One of the highlights was working with a mid-sized sales team to help them get organized; before Pipedrive, their leads were coming from all sorts of internal and external channels, the communication was scattered, and potential customers were slipping through the cracks. Within a few weeks of implementing Pipedrive for this sales team, the fog cleared: communication improved, the pipeline could be visualized for the first time, and productivity improved.
What I like about Pipedrive the most is that it is easy and customizable. Even inexperienced CRM users were able to navigate quickly because of the intuitive layout. Customizing dashboards and pipelines to fit our sales flow was also simple.
As a bonus point, it is user-friendly in terms of integrations; we integrated Zoom, Teams, and Outlook seamlessly. Meeting through the CRM instead of trying to navigate between several calendars in different accounts helped us communicate better without double booking our calendars.
There were initial concerns setting things up - it took some know-how and effort to produce advanced workflows, and automation was only somewhat useful to save time on basic tasks (follow ups or changes in status). I believe at some point automation will become more advantageous when we can develop more complex automation that any administrator can utilize without extensive work to find out how it works.
Ultimately - outside of some initial setup difficulties and limited initial automation features - Pipedrive provides value for money: a low dollar value paired with powerful features make it easy for us to endorse for other businesses trying to enhance business sales strategies without breaking the bank.

Both Pipedrive and Streak are well-established CRM platforms, each offering a suite of tools designed to help businesses manage customer relationships, streamline sales processes, and drive growth. While they share some core functionalities like pipeline management, contact tracking, and workflow automation, the main differences lie in their focus and additional features.
Pipedrive is primarily a sales-focused CRM, renowned for its visual pipeline management. It offers a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for sales teams to manage deals, track progress, and automate routine tasks. Pipedrive's core strengths include customizable pipelines, advanced reporting tools, and sales forecasting. These features make it an excellent choice for businesses that need a dedicated platform to manage complex sales processes and prioritize deal closing.
Streak, on the other hand, integrates directly with Gmail, transforming your inbox into a lightweight CRM. It is particularly appealing to...

You may find it easiest to describe the difference between the two systems by stating that Pipedrive is for Sales Execution and Zoho CRM is for Process Customization and Suite Expansion. These are represented in the amount of time for a team to get started with each system, the amount of administrative effort required to utilize each system, and the ability of each platform to expand past the realm of sales.
Pipedrive has an opinion about how the product should be structured. The pipeline is the product (the stages, deal cards, activities, reminders, and the rhythm that creates the habits of consistent follow-up with your reps.) If the major problem you see is "We have leads but our team does not consistently follow up," Pipedrive is likely to solve this problem quickly since the user experience (UX) is built around making the correct actions simple to perform.
Zoho CRM is the better choice when the CRM needs to reflect a more complex environment than the one Pipedrive was designed...

The fundamental difference between Pipedrive and Copper lies in their objective of optimization. Pipedrive focuses on sales execution; deals should be moving from one stage to another, reps are logging activities and managers are getting a clean and defendable picture of both forecast and pipeline health. For larger teams, the idea of making next-step hygiene harder to ignore is crucial for most teams (beyond a few sellers).
In contrast, Copper focuses on adoption and relationship context. In many organizations, the CRM has failed because the system was simply too heavy for how people were working and therefore data became stale and reporting became unreliable and ultimately the CRM became an option. Copper provides the value of being able to make a CRM feel more like a natural place to store customer context as opposed to a compliance tool, particularly for teams selling via relationships versus using a rigid SDR to AE production line. Pipedrive does not provide a free version but...

Instant Visual Pipeline Clarity
What I like most about Pipedrive is how quickly the pipeline view shows where every deal stands without me having to dig through menus. We set up custom stages for our sales process and the drag-and-drop layout made adoption easy for the team

Reliable Sales Execution with Smart Automations
For a small sales team, Pipedrive hits a sweet spot between structure and simplicity. The deal cards, product catalog, and recurring activity setup are all practical features we use every week. We signed up through Joinsecret and got a first-year discount that made budgeting easier, and after using it for several months I’d say the value held up even without focusing on the promo

Accountability and Forecasting Made Concrete
I like Pipedrive because reps actually use it. The interface is clean, adding notes after a call is fast, and the mandatory next activity approach helps prevent deals from going quiet. The permissions and visibility settings took a bit of trial and error for us, but once configured they worked well for a growing team

Smooth Onboarding with Responsive Support
What stood out to me with Pipedrive was how easy it was to customize fields and pipelines without needing outside help. We tailored it to our sales cycle in an afternoon, then connected email and calendar with very little friction. I also found a Joinsecret offer that cut the cost by about 30% over the first year, which was a nice bonus but not the main reason we stayed

Lean CRM with Useful Calendar + Email Tracking
I’ve had a good experience with Pipedrive because it keeps the team accountable in a simple way. Managers can see activity levels, reps can log calls quickly, and the visual pipeline makes forecasting discussions more concrete. Through Joinsecret we ended up with a reduced rate for the first 12 months, so it was a practical choice rather than a big gamble

Outbound-Friendly Leads, Fields, and Simple Automations
Pipedrive works well if your sales team actually lives in the CRM day to day. The insights dashboard gives a clear snapshot of conversion by stage, and I like that automations can handle repetitive tasks like moving deals or creating follow-up activities. It’s not the most advanced system for marketing, but for sales execution it’s reliable

From Spreadsheets to Structured Follow-Ups
We use Pipedrive mainly for outbound sales and it fits that workflow well. The lead inbox, custom fields, and automations let us route opportunities properly without building anything complicated. Support was responsive when we had a duplicate contact issue, and onboarding was smoother than I expected for a CRM

Fast Context on Contacts (Calls, Notes, Deals)
We moved to Pipedrive from spreadsheets and the difference was obvious within a week. The activity scheduling is the feature I use most because it pushes the team to always leave the next step on every deal. I also appreciated that we came in through Joinsecret and got around 30% off for the first year, which made the switch easier to justify

Custom Stages + Reminders Keep Deals Moving
Pipedrive has been solid for keeping our sales activity organized, especially the reminders and email sync. I can open a contact and immediately see the history of calls, notes, and open deals, which saves time before follow-ups. Reporting is good too, though I still export a few things when I want deeper analysis

Reporting That’s Solid (with Optional Exports)
Pipedrive is one of the few CRMs I’ve used that doesn’t feel bloated. The calendar integration and email tracking are genuinely useful, and creating filters for “stale” deals helped us clean up the pipeline fast. The mobile app is decent for updating notes after meetings, although I wish some admin settings were easier to access on mobile
