    Finest CRM Experience I've Enjoyed

    Close.io has been an invaluable tool for our small B2B sales department. Before using Close.io, we were struggling with multiple programs for emailing, calling, tracking, noting, and managing customers, which was chaotic. Now, we can do everything within the app itself, eliminating the need to transfer information from one source to another. The features that have been most beneficial to us include real-time integration with Gmail, allowing us to send and receive all our emails through the app. This not only makes things more convenient, but also keeps all correspondence logged in an easy-to-reference manner. Another great feature is the ability to record calls. All calls and voicemails are automatically listed alongside notes and emails, which is incredibly useful for longer sales cycles. We can revisit what the customer said on a call even months later, which is far superior to just having notes, especially in case of any disagreements. The support from Close.io has been fantastic. They've been very responsive and timely. I am speaking in the first person.

    As a user, I see Close.io not just as a CRM, but more as a sales platform due to its adaptable and comprehensive API that allows for customization of any component. I believe it's an excellent tool for teams to engage with their customers. It has integrated call and email features, designed for salesperson outreach, and removes unnecessary data entry. It's ideal for sales teams using the "Predictable Revenue" sales approach. All activities like calls, emails, and lead status changes are automatically tracked, leaving me to simply write contextual notes for each activity. This automatic tracking enables sales managers to easily determine how much activity produces certain sales results, which is vital for creating a scalable sales process. It has integrated call and email features, a flexible and powerful API with excellent documentation, dynamic lead lists powered by search, native Mac and Windows apps, a responsive support team, and custom fields. However, it can be expensive for budget-conscious teams, although it's not less expensive than others.

    Functional, Yet Not the Top CRM Choice

    As someone who doesn't heavily depend on a CRM system, I find Close to be a suitable option for light storage and inter-departmental checks without the need for extensive user training. However, if a detailed CRM system for managing a pipeline and viewing accounts is needed, there might be better alternatives available. I appreciate the clean UX/UI, which is easy to navigate with everything on one page, eliminating the need to search around or click on technically marked buttons. However, its simplicity can sometimes lead to clutter. It's easy to create multiple entries due to the way integrations are set up, making it unclear which is the "right" profile. Also, there's minimal tracking of progression, making it quite basic in that aspect.
