An Exceptional Low-Code Solution: PowerApps
As a small organization, we struggled with limited resources and funds to access advanced tools. However, Power Apps came at the perfect time to meet our needs and we haven't looked back since. Although it took some time to learn, we couldn't have created the tools we now have on any other platform. Power Apps enables us to deliver the right information to the right people at the right time, allowing them to take meaningful action. We can customize it to our needs, which is far superior to any out-of-the-box solution. Despite the cost, it has saved us tens of thousands of dollars per year in employee hours and helped us generate income faster. What I appreciate about Power Apps is its ability to quickly transition from problem to solution and share that solution with anyone in the company. However, there are some challenges, such as difficulty in styling apps and performing seemingly simple tasks. For instance, fitting text horizontally requires a workaround. Despite these issues, it's still faster.

Developing with Power Apps has been enjoyable for me due to its quick and powerful results that benefit my organization. The software's interface is user-friendly and flexible, enabling me to create and launch attractive applications with little effort. When paired with Power Automate, Power Apps becomes a powerful tool that can yield impressive outcomes with minimal coding. As part of the Office 365 suite, Power Apps can use staff user data and execute complex tasks across nearly all other apps in the suite via Power Automate. Creating form fields is easy but time-consuming without the ability to template a form field for reuse. Power FX, Power Apps' coding language, is simple for basic applications but can become difficult to master as I start to do more with my app. However, I can often delegate the processing to Power Automate, where I can do more without having to code. Choosing Power Apps as part of the Office 365 suite was an easy decision due to its native integration.
