I regret engaging in business with Zenefits. Despite being aware that I was entering a year-long contract, I believed there were sufficient issues and unmet promises to justify an early termination. However, they denied my request to exit the contract. I was forced to switch to another provider halfway through the year, which was not ideal, and had to pay the remaining balance of my contract to Zenefits, despite not utilizing their services for the final 8 months. Finding an email address to contact support for ongoing tax issues was challenging. Once I notified them that I no longer wished to process my payroll through them, they ceased communication. I am thrilled to no longer be in business with them. The sole reason I left my previous provider was because I required more features and functionality than they could offer. I switched to Zenefits after 4 months due to numerous legal and tax problems they created. The setup process was a nightmare, taking weeks to complete.

Disjointed Service and Terrible Payroll Experience
Zenefits is essentially a collection of various companies pretending to be one. Each module is overseen by a different company. My setup wasn't even correct for the first six weeks, with no compensation or apology offered. They give me less than a day to approve timecards and payroll, and if there's a holiday, it's nearly impossible to complete the week and pay my employees on their payday. Yet, they never fail to take my money on time, leading me to believe they profit significantly from the interest on their clients' money. They don't compare to ADP and Paychex, but I'm stuck in this contract for now. I wouldn't recommend it.
