Senior Buyer's Perspective on ScrapRight Software
I feel that the ScrapRight software should offer more features for its price. I wish their tech support could immediately resolve issues as delays can lead to customer loss. While the software simplifies report filing, it would be more useful if it allowed for problem resolution and report resubmission when errors occur. For example, if a license expired, it should allow for updates post-transaction. Currently, we can't fix issues and are left stranded. The software is slow and redundant, and it doesn't fulfill all our compliance needs, like cash cards. It also necessitates us to repeatedly enter customer information to remain compliant. We switched to ScrapRight because our previous company couldn't support us anymore. The vendor suggested an account upgrade could enhance our experience and help us achieve a 5-star rating in response to my concerns. They also assured us that they are working on improving the iScrapRight experience and have exciting updates coming.

Assistance in Resolving Issues
My overall experience with ScrapRight has been positive, despite a few minor issues. The software is user-friendly and offers a range of features that meet our requirements. I have no complaints about the software itself, but I do have some concerns about the customer support system, which is mainly conducted via email and chat. While this method works for some, I personally prefer phone conversations. I must praise a particular Technical Support staff member for her outstanding service to our company. She has been extremely helpful, dedicated, and prompt in her responses, even through email and chat. We switched to ScrapRight at the preference of our new tech staff. I appreciate the vendor's response to my feedback, reminding their Support Engineers that not everyone is comfortable with text and chat communication and that their policy is to call customers. I am thankful for their patience and value our long-term business relationship with ScrapRight.
