I appreciate the online registration and transaction tracking features of Xplor Recreation. I also like how contract amendments result in the entire contract being reverted to account credit and a new transaction schedule being set up. I primarily chose Xplor Recreation for its cost. However, I had a negative experience when setting up my own database, a feature that is no longer available.

Versatile System, Ensure it Suits Your Requirements
I find Xplor to be efficient and clean in handling daily tasks. However, I sometimes encounter issues with reporting and flexibility. It can be challenging to keep up with changes and test them. Xplor Recreation is very user-friendly for new staff, making training easy. Customers can navigate the website easily and building marketing widgets is straightforward. Features like general registration, single day programs, and online facility booking are all simple to use. The online help tool is full of information and the custom fields and objects allow for recording extra data, creating views, and adding features. However, reporting on some fields can be difficult as the objects aren't always connected or the field isn't reportable. The system lacks flexibility in dealing with edge cases, such as being unable to uncancel an event or book a program to occur twice in one day. Refunds with multiple cancelled days require a lot of work. The online help tool can sometimes be vague. I chose Xplor Recreation because of the custom fields.

Fresh Start with Xplor Recreation
I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Xplor Recreation and the staff I've worked with during the year-long configuration process. As my agency gets more comfortable with Xplor, we're excited to use more of its functions. I would recommend Xplor to other Parks and Recreation agencies. The staff has been amazing and I'm very happy with our experience. We've used the same operating system for over 30 years, so this has been a big change for us, but we're very pleased with Xplor's customer-friendly functions. The appearance and functionality are outstanding. Xplor staff are very responsive to any issues we've had and they make us feel valued. We're already looking forward to new services coming in future months and so far, we've been extremely happy with our transition. The feedback from our customers and staff has been overwhelmingly positive. We would like Xplor to develop a Sports/League Management module as an add-on.
