01 Is GoDaddy Website Builder any Good? My expert Review
After using GoDaddy Website Builder frequently for multiple client projects overall I would rate it a great option—I especially think it is a perfect tool for small businesses or individuals starting out building a website. It consistently lets me create clean, professional junk sites quickly—and without complex technical parameters. For instance, when I worked with a local bakery to establish their first online presence, we created their website and made it live within a few hours—showcasing their wonderful sweets and delicious treats without a hitch.
One aspect of GoDaddy that has given me a very positive feeling to have used their service is their support—I feel very supported. When I have had an issue or needed clarification on a feature or two, the tech support team have responded very rapidly and were truly willing to help me with what I needed. For example, when I assisted a small consulting firm with their domain integrations, custom emails, etc, they took time to make sure that I was up and running as expected.
However, my experience does come with some challenges for certain more complex projects. I had worked with a creative agency that wanted more intricate designs and custom branding elements, and I thought GoDaddy was little restrictive in terms of custom features and design work. Also, making sure a site is responsive to mobile can be tricky; though there is mobile editor; it is extremely easy to use, but does not allow for total customization for how a site looks on various devices.
Nevertheless, even with some hardships with a couple of my projects, I would still suggest that my impression is a positive one. GoDaddy Website Builder really lends itself for entrepreneurs and small businesses looking for two things more than customization: usability and reliable support. It can take the hassle out of website building while also lending reliable support whenever needed—solidifying relationship - reminiscence as another reliable tool in my tool-box.
