Customer Service Matters as Much as Sales
I had a negative experience with Jimdo due to threats and failure to notify about renewals within the cancellation period. I strongly advise against using this product. I initially purchased it for a small band that didn't last long, and I found the website setup process quite easy. However, when it was time to renew, I contacted the company to cancel as I no longer needed the site. Despite responding on the same day, I was told it was too late. To make matters worse, they wanted to increase the price by 300%. I even offered to pay for another year at the original price, despite not needing the site, but was met with legal threats. It seems they've forgotten that while sales may bring profit in one year, service ensures ongoing profit. For a highly-rated company, they've lost their customer focus. I'm even considering declaring bankruptcy just to ensure they get nothing. I initially switched to Jimdo because of the cost and ease of use, but now I regret it.
