Why the Sudden Fee for Lightspeed Golf?
I was happy with the Lightspeed Golf software until they started charging two weeks ago. Despite numerous attempts to contact them over a week, I received no response. Now, I'm even charged a fee to book a tee time, despite working at the course. Ironically, I switched to Lightspeed Golf because they didn't charge for tee times.

Best Choice of the Year: Switching to Lightspeed-Golf
I've been using Chronogolf for several months now, having switched from a previous system. The main reason for this switch was Chronogolf's smaller size and superior support compared to our last provider. I've been impressed by how Chronogolf consistently keeps us updated with new features they're adding to the tee sheet and informs us about rare outages, especially after dealing with past outages and technical difficulties. The ability to access the tee sheet from anywhere has been incredibly convenient for me. With two lodges, two golf courses, and a reservations department all in separate locations, this tool is absolutely essential. It even allows our superintendents to access the tee sheet from their phones, keeping them updated with the level of play we're experiencing on any given day. Lastly, I appreciate that Chronogolf is open to adding features we need for our operation. As most of our play is high-end tourism, we require a lot of information for each booking.

Significant Benefits Experienced by Our Club through Chronogolf Partnership
After my initial year as a Golf Director, I realized the need for a more efficient data collection method since we lacked a point of sale at the club. I researched numerous POS systems and narrowed it down to a few, including Chronogolf. What distinguished Chronogolf was the personal attention we received. After two seasons with them, I am not disappointed. The system is user-friendly, the tech support is excellent, and it integrates flawlessly with our email marketing system. We also employed their team to create a new website and they were supportive and responsive throughout the process. If any staff member encounters a problem, they can send a request directly from the screen and receive a response within minutes. The instructions are clear and all issues are resolved in a reasonable time frame. Overall, I am very satisfied with our partnership with Chronogolf.
