Individual Plan Billing Mechanism: A Disappointing Experience
After enjoying the quality of productboard, I was sure I would stick with it. However, I was disappointed by the non-transparent billing, making it feel like just another tool. Despite being a well-designed tool, it's not the only one out there. Being charged for adding a member without any warning or notice, just by selecting someone from a drop-down menu, was a terrible experience that devalued the product.

I receive a wide range of input from various channels, and Productboard allows me to use my Chrome extension to funnel everything there. I dedicate a specific time each week to sift through all the input and identify the most valuable insights. The tool's flexibility is a significant advantage. I frequently use custom tags and divide different views based on our needs for prioritization decisions, market reach, or competitor gaps. Our entire product management revolves around this tool. I have no specific complaints as the team continues to add excellent features with each new release. I chose Productboard because it is more tailored to addressing our needs.
