Unlocking Financial Efficiency with Sage Business Cloud Accounting
I find Sage Business Cloud Accounting to be highly effective in meeting my finance department's goals and simplifying our workflow for maximum efficiency. The installation and implementation processes are straightforward, and the features are user-friendly, even for those without an accounting background. The software allows real-time file sharing with clients and colleagues, eliminating the need for email invoicing and streamlining debtor management. I find the mobile access particularly useful when I'm on the move. The software is reasonably priced and comes with a free trial period. I also appreciate the excellent customer service provided by Sage. However, I suggest that all features be included when adding a new item from the Invoice screen, such as selecting the Purchase account. Currently, I have to leave the Invoice, create a new item, and then return to the Invoice. I chose Sage Accounting because it allowed us to integrate our accounting and payroll systems. It allows us to manage our accounts from anywhere and on any device.

I find Sage Business Cloud Accounting easy to set up and use. It integrates seamlessly with our existing business and is accessible from anywhere with internet access, including mobile devices. It simplifies tasks like bank reconciliation and invoicing, and its installation and implementation processes are straightforward. The software is user-friendly, even for those without accounting knowledge. It allows real-time sharing of files with clients and colleagues, saving time and eliminating the need to directly email invoices. This makes managing debtors easier and less expensive. Being able to access the software from a mobile device is a significant advantage when I'm on the go. The software is affordable and even offers a free trial. I've found Sage's customer support to be very helpful. However, the software can only be accessed online, which can be challenging when internet speeds are slow or when there's no connection. Sometimes, the bank sync feed is slow, and the handling of foreign currency can be problematic.

High Hopes for Sage Cloud Solution, But Fell Short
My experience with Sage Business Cloud Accounting was unfortunately disappointing. I was a big fan of their desktop program and was excited to try their cloud solution. I love cloud solutions and was looking forward to the reports from this software. However, I faced numerous obstacles when trying to switch from the Sage Desktop program to their cloud program. The customer support was not helpful, which led me to join a Facebook support group of other accountants/bookkeepers going through a similar transition. In the end, I had to choose between sticking with it or losing my productivity. I initially chose Sage Accounting because I signed up for the beta testing, hoping that the data migration from one Sage program to another would be smooth. I primarily used Sage 50cloud for its desktop features, but felt that its cloud connectivity was lacking.
