I'm thrilled to share my experience with Sage Business Cloud Accounting! They've been proactive in managing my company's payroll account, ensuring everything is in order. I was pleasantly surprised when they reached out to me ahead of my next invoice due on January 9th. I had previously cancelled the direct debit due to an £83 increase in the cost of Sage 5 accounts this year, but Sage was quick to schedule a call with me on the 5th to discuss migrating to the cloud. I'm really impressed with their forward-thinking approach. Even though I don't owe them anything yet, they've taken the initiative to ensure my access to Payroll is seamless. I find their commitment to customer service truly commendable!

I like the banking connections feature and the simplicity of allocating transactions in Sage Business Cloud Accounting. It helps me monitor my spending and manage my income easily. The software makes bookkeeping straightforward. However, I find it complex to transfer between multiple linked bank accounts and there's a risk of duplicating transactions. I'm not keen on paying for extras like cloud space, as it can become costly with more functionality needed. Despite this, I opted for Sage Accounting because it provides the most reasonable pricing for basic bookkeeping functions.

User-Friendly Cloud Accounting Solution with Room for Improvement
I find the Sage Business Cloud Accounting software easy to set up and use for our needs. I like the ability to access it from anywhere and attach documents to transactions. Modifying the chart of accounts was simple, but I'm frustrated by the lack of customization on the layout of financial statements. I'm familiar with Sage products like Sage Business Works and Sage 50, so the product and company are not new to me. I appreciate the ability to log in to the software from anywhere without needing a client/server environment. The software was easy to sign up for and relatively easy to implement. However, there are two major drawbacks compared to its direct competitors. Firstly, the package doesn't allow custom grouping of GL accounts. For example, if I want to group sales by category and have a sub-total for that sales section on my income statement, I can't do that. There's no ability to edit the income statement layout or the balance sheet layout to add sections and sub-totals.

I've been using Sage Business Cloud Accounting software and it's been a fantastic experience! When I first purchased it, they offered me a free upgrade from Pro to Premium, which was a delightful surprise. The Premium version has a higher renewal price, but it's totally worth it for the advanced features it offers. What's really cool is that once you've upgraded to Premium, you're committed to it. This means you get to enjoy all the advanced features without having to switch back and forth between versions. If you ever decide to go back to the Pro version, you'll need to repurchase it and re-input your information, but that's a small price to pay for the flexibility and control you get. The best part is that Sage gives you the freedom to choose the software you want. You can even negotiate a discount at purchase, which is a great bonus. And the free upgrade offer is a fantastic opportunity if you're looking to explore the Premium version. So, if you're considering Sage, I'd say go for it and embrace the upgrade - it's a game-changer!
