Emburse: A Versatile Solution for Multiple Programs
I use Emburse to fund our marketing contractors and my experience has been entirely positive. I value Emburse's ease of use, particularly when working with contracted employees. I opted for Emburse Cards as they offer the coverage we need as a company hiring contractors for various programs. We transitioned from PEX to Emburse Cards as PEX did not cater to all our programs.

Frequent Server Downtime Results in Purchase Failures
I find the emburse-cards software to be a free program and I feel like I'm getting what I paid for. It has become slightly more user-friendly with the addition of searchable drop-down menus and the ability to add extra attachments. However, I've noticed that the website has been very slow recently, taking a few minutes to boot up and search for a transaction, which I find very inconvenient. I've also experienced server issues that have caused recurring purchases to fail, leading to serious problems with our vendors. The vendor explained that they were performing server cleanup, which was causing the transaction page to be slow, but they have since finished. They also mentioned that they added a new fix for managing any failed purchases last month, so I shouldn't see any more going forward. They clarified that they aren't a free platform, but they waived the monthly fee a long time ago.

Emburse Simplifies Expenses Remarkably - A Team Favorite!
Emburse makes it incredibly easy for me to issue expense cards to new employees and ensures everyone reports back on all necessary details for closing our books. It has transformed a previously annoying process into a streamlined automated text message each time a purchase is made. It's amazing. There's nothing significant I dislike about the product. One minor issue is that it uses pre-paid cards instead of true credit cards, so we have to keep topping up our balance. However, this is automated so it's not a big deal. I chose Emburse Cards because it's much more comprehensive in its ability to map our internal workflow to the system. Also, Emburse's support was far superior and responsive.
