      Appalling Customer Service and Support from Gymdesk

      Terrible. I'm cancelling my subscription and switching to a competitor's company. They at least provide a customer service phone number. Gymdesk is a decent membership management platform, but their customer service is awful. They don't provide a phone number and after several emails requesting a callback, I was informed they don't do callbacks but would schedule a customer service call. This was inconvenient, especially since I was calling about the three charges a month that my $75 a month service was supposed to cover. I initially chose Gymdesk for its pricing, but it's not saving me any money and actually costs more than its competitors. I'm switching due to their poor customer service and the hidden charges. Their $75 a month plan was actually costing me [SENSITIVE CONTENT] a month and getting an explanation from Gymdesk was nearly impossible. They responded saying they don't provide live phone support.

      So far, my experience with Gymdesk has been fantastic! I've encountered very few complaints or frustrations from members during the transition, unlike with previous software like Zenplanner, which was plagued with crashing apps. Gymdesk works flawlessly on every smartphone or computer browser. All you need to do is log in and access everything, including remote training videos, which are vital at the moment. I would appreciate more features supporting remote training, but given the product's relative newness and how well everything else has been functioning for me and my students, I rate it a solid A-. The setup was straightforward, it has automated payment processing, allows easy modifications on the go, and features a beautiful schedule for the website. It also includes booking and check-ins, built-in waivers, agreements, and forms. The developer is continually listening to users and providing feedback. However, it lacks robust reporting and a configurable sign-up menu. Much of its functionality seems to.

It perfectly fulfills my needs for school management software at a very reasonable cost. It's user-friendly and serves as a comprehensive solution. The developers have thought of everything. It's easy for members to use and the website is directly linked to the backend, which is connected to the online store and Point of Sale, making everything straightforward. I do wish there was a bit more flexibility with the website's design templates. At times, navigating the help can be a bit challenging, but the Live Chat quickly resolves any issues.
