    Empowering Small-Scale Investors with Intelligent Tools

    Pendo provides me, a small-scale real estate investor and property manager, with valuable web-based tools at a reasonable price. I find the ability to send and manage digital rental applications, perform credit and softcheck reports, and automatically collect rent payments through PendoPay particularly useful. These features significantly reduce risk and are not commonly offered to small-scale investors in Canada by other software companies. However, I'm disappointed that there isn't a mobile app and the software lacks the ability to manage maintenance requests and tenant communication. I don't use the bookkeeping and reporting features, preferring Quickbooks Online instead. Despite other property management software applications offering more comprehensive features, they are often too expensive and have poor user interfaces. I chose Pendo because it's available in Canada and provides the essential tools I need as a small-scale real estate investor. I appreciate the vendor's response and look forward to the release of the maintenance issue tracker.

    Unintuitive and Inefficient to Use: A Pendo Review

    I can see how Pendo could potentially deliver on its promises. However, I find it takes too long to learn even the basic functions as some procedures seem unnecessarily complicated. Setting up a step-by-step guide within an app felt counterintuitive and repetitive, a process that I believe could be more streamlined and efficient. Pendo's tutorial videos are hit or miss. Some are helpful, while others are filled with too much talk and don't really address the topic at hand. Pendo might be suitable for those who have the time to learn it. However, if you're like me and time is precious with a lot of tight deadlines, you might want to consider other options.
