I have been using Slido for 4-5 years in various roles such as a speaker, participant, and event organizer and my experience has been consistently excellent. The system is robust and highly adaptable. I value its simplicity, as it can be instantly used on any browser with just one URL and one hashtag, or by scanning a QR code. I also appreciate the range of options it provides without being overwhelming, and its ability to instantly visualize data. It's a straightforward tool for receiving questions but can also facilitate immediate data analysis. In terms of usability, Slido is spot on. However, I would like to see some updates on its appearance, and I think a few more visualization options would be beneficial. I chose Slido because of the fantastic team behind the product and its simplicity, yet powerful capabilities.

Slido - Seamless Functionality Lets You Focus on Your Task

My supervisor asked me to try Poll Everywhere, after we had used Slido on a limited basis during our agency meetings. I found Poll Everywhere somewhat hard to navigate and wasn't sure if it would meet my basic needs for a presentation. However, when I switched back to Slido, everything became much simpler. What impressed me the most about Slido was that I didn't have to spend a lot of time learning how to use its features. This was especially useful when I had to quickly create an interactive quiz show for 20 tables of 6 people. Everything I needed was readily available and worked flawlessly. I foresee a time when I might need to do something that Slido can't handle, but so far, the Slido team has been ahead of me in creating new ways to engage groups in learning, competition, and fun. The only problem I encountered was thinking that the free version of Slido would limit me to three quiz questions, as it limits the number of polls per event to.

I had a positive experience with Slido. It's an excellent polling tool that offers a high-quality user experience. It preserves the anonymity of participants, ensuring privacy, and delivers immediate voting results. It's a straightforward tool that's incredibly useful for obtaining authentic feedback from employees. I didn't encounter any issues with it. However, to make it more dynamic, additional features could be added to the platform. We transitioned to Slido because it's much more persuasive and user-friendly.

Finally, a User-Friendly Live Tool!

I've been using the free version of Slido and it's been perfectly suitable for my needs. I've used many of its features for polling and engaging my audience directly with the Q&A tool. Despite my participants often being resistant to technology, Slido has caused no issues. It's simply amazing and I highly recommend this powerful tool. It's very easy to set up and has great features, even in the free version. It's also very easy to share and has a user-friendly interface on both phone and desktop browsers. The limited features can be a bit frustrating, but it's a free version after all. I do wish the survey time limit could be extended to two weeks. I chose Slido because I had been using Turning Point clicker for years, but software and hardware upgrades prevented me from continuing to use it. Slido proved to be a great alternative. I switched to Slido because setting up Survey Monkey was too time-consuming.

Effortless Mastery and Swift Setup with Slido

I find Slido useful in making online presentations more engaging and it gives me a genuine understanding of the audience's true feelings. I value its ease of use, intuitiveness, and the speed at which I can launch it and receive feedback during an Online Training session. As a first-time user, it doesn't intimidate me. I also like the analytics and post-event feedback it offers. I wouldn't mind having a few more templates, but overall, I'm happy with the selection. I switched to Slido from Mentimeter because the initial learning curve with Mentimeter was too steep and I didn't find it as intuitive as Slido. I received a response from the vendor, Filipa, in February 2022, thanking me for my positive review and expressing appreciation for my support.
