01 Is Grammarly any Good? My expert Review

Grammarly Business has provided great support while developing professional content. Whether writing a comprehensive business proposal, or writing while working with people remotely, it helps clarify content by providing their suggestions in real-time and via deep integrations with various platforms to keep your content clear, engaging, and professional.

That said - it's certainly not perfect - some confusion arose during multilingual projects because it only operates in English (womp womp), and the plagiarism checker is also sometimes off so manual checking is always needed too.

That said, Grammarly provides some nice features, and its scoring (like when you have a personal coach) could motivate your writing habits and mentally prepare you to present confidently to stakeholders.

At the end of the day, despite sometimes off or being imperfect, so far, Grammarly Business is helpful, widely used, and easy to use because it helps with writing improvement and all technology generally integrates to improve writing in a seamless way.

Cons from reviewers

  • High cost
The monthly payments for Grammarly can be somewhat expensive compared to other similar tools like Linguix that offer a one-time lifetime deal

  • Inaccurate suggestions
Grammarly often incorrectly identifies non-errors as issues and sometimes suggests changes that can lower the quality of the writing.

  • Inaccurate plagiarism checker
The plagiarism checker doesn't always accurately detect plagiarism, which can lead to false positives or negatives

  • Limited language support
Grammarly only supports English, which can be a challenge for researchers and writers who need to check for copied work in other languages
