Using MeisterTask as Task Management Software - Beware of Auto-Renewal
I use Meistertask as a task management software, but it's quite expensive and automatically renews after 12 months without any reminders. I asked for a refund on the day of renewal, but it was denied. Now, I'm stuck with another year of this software that I'm not really using. I don't find their business practices very ethical.

Easy to Use but with Significant Limitations
I initially found Meistertask promising, but upon using it, I encountered several issues. Firstly, it lacks a meaningful capability for setting reminders for allocated tasks. Secondly, there's no permissions control unless you upgrade to the Business version, and even then, the settings are global by project, not at a task level. Thirdly, there are potential data protection issues as you can't remove previous collaborators from the suggested participant lists. This is similar to Outlook's auto-complete feature, but without the ability to delete, potentially causing significant damage. Lastly, contacting customer support was extremely difficult and impossible using the method provided in the instructions. Despite being a paid, Professional user, their response to my concerns was unsatisfactory and showed a lack of customer awareness.
