Affordable Odoo ERP: A Mixed Bag of Efficiency and Complexity
My experience with Odoo-ERP has been fairly good. The competence of the support staff is inconsistent, with some being efficient and others not so much. The setup was straightforward and all apps are now included in the User License Agreement. However, comprehending the user access structure is a challenge. I wish there was more documentation and training on all the modules. It's also hard to search for past support tickets. I opted for Odoo due to its cost-effectiveness and comprehensive software suite. I made the switch to Odoo for the same reasons - cost savings and user-friendliness.

I used Odoo ERP to streamline my supply chain and finance operations. It helped me identify key factors and create custom reports for both company and individual performance. In supply chain management, Odoo helped me optimize trade-offs between shortages and overstocking, and improve my cash-to-cash cycle by identifying bottlenecks. It also assisted in managing long-term pending cases, reporting, and email notifications for abnormal or overdue transactions, especially during financial crises. I utilized Odoo's customization features to analyze sourcing versus manufacturing costs and RFQs. Odoo's easy installation, wide support, and business features are tailored to international business tactics. It provides modules for finance, invoicing, quality control, inventory, planning, manufacturing, MRP, and DRP. Its cross-functionality and user control features are powerful tools for business management. It's available as SaaS, on a local server, and can be installed on a custom domain. Odoo's speed and user-friendly interface make it a great tool for business management.
