Even though it took 4 days to get a response due to their high volume of customer inquiries, I was informed that they have a no-refund policy. I've been a user of Recurly for over 5 years, utilizing it to manage our billing. It's fully integrated into our systems and processes, and I'm particularly fond of its ease of use and the excellent support provided. The features are impressive and the simplicity is commendable. However, what stands out the most is their customer service, which is quick and thorough in answering any queries from my team or myself. The only hiccup I've experienced is a somewhat clunky integration with GoCardless, but I don't attribute this to Recurly. They've been receptive to my feedback, showing appreciation and a readiness to enhance my experience if possible.

Experiencing Recurly's Commitment to Customer Satisfaction: A Personal Account
I had the pleasure of speaking with a salesperson named John Gonzales at Recurly. Despite the initial impression of it being a bit pricey, they offered us a no-risk option to try it out and only pay for transactions as they occur. This was a refreshing approach that we appreciated. The onboarding process was intricate and detailed, which showed us the depth of the software's capabilities. We didn't get around to fully utilizing the service, but we were impressed by the comprehensive nature of the platform. Nine months later, we received a notice from a collection agency. It turned out there had been some confusion about our account, and we were being charged a monthly amount. Recurly's account managers were as surprised as we were and admitted they were unsure why we were being charged for an account that was never used or onboarded. They even involved a law firm to help resolve the issue. The firm was assertive and proactive, which showed us that Recurly was serious about resolving the matter. We are confident that we don't owe anything, and we are working closely with Recurly and their law firm to clear up the misunderstanding. This experience has been a learning curve for us, and despite the inconvenience, it has shown us the lengths Recurly will go to in order to resolve issues. It's clear that they are committed to their business practices and ensuring customer satisfaction. I would advise anyone looking for a robust and comprehensive billing platform to consider Recurly. They are dedicated to their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything is in order.

Overall, I find Recurly to be a user-friendly subscription billing and management tool. It empowers me as a support representative to assist my customers and provide information without needing help from the Finance team for general billing inquiries or issues. I would recommend this software for recurring subscription products/services. Recurly is straightforward to use and set up. I can easily review customer billing information, subscriptions, and coupons or discounts, and make necessary adjustments. I value the hosted account and billing management pages that allow customers to update their information without having to log in. However, as a non-admin user, my access to some data needed to support my customers is limited, such as the ability to view add-on products and reports detailing which products were sold and to whom. This might be a configuration my company has chosen rather than default access based on user type. The vendor responded positively in February 2023, expressing their happiness that Recurly is working for me and thanking me for my feedback.
