Excellent Tool with Minor Glitches
Spendesk offers simple, straightforward steps for paying invoices, setting up virtual cards for payment, or getting expenses reimbursed. The interface is very clear and easy to use. I find Spendesk to be a highly useful service for all payment-related needs within a business. It eliminates the need to manage credit cards for purchases or online subscriptions, as the approval process is fully digitalized. The physical card, which provides immediate reminders for receipt scanning, is also beneficial. Bills are automatically attached to every payment, whether online or offline, preventing the accounting department from wasting time collecting and managing them. Overall, Spendesk has saved us a lot of time.

As a member of a small team spread across Europe and Asia, I find Spendesk incredibly useful. It has automated much of our accounting, payment requests, and personal expenses, allowing us to focus more on business development rather than manual report filing and receipt tracking. Spendesk enables us to automate payments and approvals for business expenses and offers a clear overview of transaction ownership, fostering accountability. The accounting integration in Germany was easy and straightforward, and the approval flows are excellent. It's also possible to set up multiple teams and entities, mirroring complex organizational structures. However, due to Spendesk's internal changes in preparation for Brexit, the onboarding process took 3-4 weeks, which was not well communicated beforehand. Also, each credit card's limit must be backed by pre-loaded money onto the bank account, and each card's limit needs to be 100% backed, effectively tying up an entire month of "worst case scenario" working capital. The currency conversion charges are also a concern.
