Cons from reviewers
-
Limited scheduling capabilities for recurring content: Unbounce falls short when it comes to evergreen scheduled content. For example, setting up a recurring webinar requires updating the same landing page every week with new dates or creating separate landing pages
-
Lack of general template script: Unbounce does not have a general template script, which means things like the fav icon have to be manually set for each page
-
Inadequate customer support: Some users have reported that the support team can be unresponsive and arrogant, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction
-
High pricing for small businesses: Unbounce may not be very small business-friendly in terms of pricing, making it less accessible for smaller companies or startups
-
Complex conversion tracking: Conversion tracking, especially when using Google Tag Manager, can be complex and inconvenient, making it difficult to understand and improve the conversion rate for landing page variants.

Who is Unbounce best for according to our reviewers?
Online Marketers: Unbounce is a crucial tool for online marketers looking to focus their efforts and boost conversions. It allows them to create highly targeted landing pages with specific wording and images based on any parameter they require, aiding in generating more leads and closing more sales
Small Business Owners: Small business owners can use Unbounce to create landing pages without needing to wait for developers. However, Unbounce might not be very small business-friendly in terms of pricing, and it's easier to use a WordPress plugin if you work mostly with WordPress
SaaS Companies: Unbounce provides many options for building a high-converting landing page and is quite easy to use, even for beginners. Features like popups and sticky bars make it a landing page platform worth considering, especially for SaaS companies
Photographers: Unbounce can be used by photographers to create targeted landing pages for their photography company and for several clients who partner with them in their marketing efforts. The software's best features are its user-friendliness and the elegant, simple design templates
Web Developers: Web developers can use Unbounce to create landing pages and form popups without needing resources from development or design. It offers added functionality of Webhooks and integrations for power users and developers. However, the number of pop-ups you can create on a standard account is limited compared to the number of forms you can create.

Seriously Disappointing Experience with Unbounce
The software, Unbounce, is worse than I initially thought. It appears visually appealing, but practically none of its features function properly. Even simple tasks like copying and pasting text are problematic, and its formatting is faulty. It attempts to be a multifunctional tool but fails in every aspect. Tasks that take 3 minutes in WordPress take a whole day in Unbounce. Despite its good looks, it's essentially useless.

Unbounce: A Must-Explore Landing Page Platform!
I used to primarily work with WordPress before advanced plugins for building landing pages like Elementor, Thrive Landing Page builder, and Breezy were introduced. During that time, software like Instapage and Unbounce were very popular, and I tested all of them, including Leadpages. Unbounce was similar to the others with its clean user interface, organized dashboard, and fewer issues. It provides many options for building a high-converting landing page and is quite easy to use, even for beginners. Features like popups and sticky bars make it a landing page platform worth considering, especially for SaaS companies. However, Unbounce is not very small business-friendly in terms of pricing, and it's easier to use a WordPress plugin if you work mostly with WordPress. I appreciate the vendor's kind words and feedback, and I'm glad to hear that I'm getting value from the builder as well as the popups and sticky bars features.
