01 Is Vimeo any Good? My expert Review
All in all, I had a good experience with Vimeo, mostly because of the quality of both the video embedding and of Vimeo itself as a platform. When I was creating marketing videos for a design agency, Vimeo enabled us to embed the videos into our website without issues and offered continuity and professionalism in terms of branding. When I was creating videos while working with an animation studio, the ability to do the password protected sharing of video and remove load-time changes gave the graphic quality superior to all other clients, while also keeping client video review sessions confidential and less stressful.
There have been frustrations without question. During a recent project when we were launching a new product, I experienced slow customer service that introduced minor delays to the launch date of the project, when we ran into technical difficulties. Also, while the customisation was good, it would have been nice to have some additional flexibility in player controls and layout to deal with the specific brand specifications we were trying to achieve.
While there might be at least a couple of things I think can be improved (namely response speed in support), I absolutely recommend checking out Vimeo when you need a reliable, and professional posting solution for your video. The video quality, ease-of-use and presentation are all incredibly good compared to competing options. It is hard to focus on the negatives when there have been so many strong positives.

There are a few positive points that allow for video playback localization, the statistics... However, it's not enough. I've been with Vimeo for 15 years and the organization of the interface, the intuitiveness is almost non-existent, sometimes there are organizational changes (inexplicable as they are not for the better) and navigation is very inconvenient. I have 175 videos and it's often complicated to find the homepage with its thumbnails. For example, they have changed something and I no longer have access to the homepage of my VIMEO channel. SEO is close to zero. I use it as a channel but ultimately, YOU TUBE will suffice.

To my surprise, within a few hours of uploading a few videos, my account was reviewed by Vimeo's diligent staff. I appreciate Vimeo's commitment to maintaining a platform free from misinformation, even though there was a misunderstanding in my case. Their customer service was quite efficient. I reached out for a refund through their online message system, and they promptly sent me automated emails, ensuring my request was received and being processed. In the meantime, I took the initiative to dispute the transaction through my bank and managed to get my money back. I was impressed by Vimeo's automated email system, which kept me updated throughout the process. This is how they ensure their customers are always in the loop. I'm looking forward to resolving the misunderstanding and continuing to use their services.
