Persistent Technical Glitches with iLobby
I am dissatisfied with the overall performance of the iLobby Visitor Management system. We use thermal cameras for temperature checks, but if the camera can't read a visitor's face due to obstructions like hats, glasses, masks, etc., it reports a camera malfunction error instead of an error reading the face. I proposed a feature for them to still send the picture to the supervisor even on failed reading, which would inform the supervisor that the camera worked but couldn't take the temperature for some other reason. When the software functions, it's decent, but it takes too long to process a visitor. This is primarily due to the addition of COVID screening questionnaires to our program, which slows down the process. The thermal camera integration is poor. We have 6 iLobby units with thermal cameras and on average, we experience at least one or two system crashes every week. Tech support assists in getting them back online, but we shouldn't have to completely reinstall the system and get a code from iLobby.

iLobby: The Effortless System for Visitor Management
With iLobby, I can effectively track who visits our buildings and when. I can monitor the frequency of their visits, who they are meeting, and if they have been waiting in the lobby for too long. The software is as effective, if not more, than having a dedicated front desk employee. It's incredibly user-friendly with reliable hardware like Brother printers and Apple iPads. Setting up the address book can be a bit challenging, but that's the only minor issue. I chose iLobby as it was the first product I found and its promises impressed me, and it certainly delivered!

I am extremely pleased with the customer support for iLobby as they always respond promptly to any queries. I particularly appreciate the pre-registration feature for our employees and their guests, which saves us significant time at the front desk. Employees are notified via email and text when their guests arrive. However, there are instances when the system doesn't recognize returning visitors, forcing them to sign in as new visitors. We chose iLobby for its cost-effectiveness and user-friendliness. We had been testing another product but decided to switch to iLobby due to its affordability and ease of use.
