I would highly recommend Freshmarketer's free forever plan, particularly for bloggers, affiliates, small businesses, and startups. As a marketer, I find Freshmarketer to be a tool that consistently supports my team and me. It offers a variety of apps and features, eliminating the need to buy these apps separately. For instance, it includes a heatmap, A/B testing tool, funnel optimization, and more. Therefore, there's no need for a separate split testing, conversion optimization, or survey tool when using Freshmarketer, which saves a significant amount of money. The Chrome extension is also very handy, allowing me to create and manage campaigns directly from my browser. However, there are a few drawbacks. The free plan is quite basic and lacks the best features. Upgrading to the paid plan can be quite costly. Additionally, there are occasional bugs that can be annoying. Despite being in the development stage and most issues being resolved, new ones can arise. However, it is continually evolving.

The Freshmarketer dashboard is sleek and user-friendly, but it appears to be focused solely on email marketing. The feature I was most interested in, the Conversion Rate Optimization tool, doesn't seem to function at all. Despite setting up the account and integrating the code snippet into our website, the tool remains unresponsive. I'm uncertain if this is a glitch or if the product is simply underdeveloped. The most significant problem is the absence of customer support. I've submitted at least four inquiries and have yet to receive a response after three business days. Despite its extensive marketing, the only feature that appealed to me - the Conversion Rate Optimization tool - is non-functional. I initially chose Freshmarketer for its features and cost, and switched because I thought it would be more affordable and wanted to try out the platform.

The user experience is fantastic. I was in search of a solution to understand why my conversions were low. I had many assumptions and hypotheses, but testing each one would have been time-consuming. Then I discovered Freshmarketer. It's a comprehensive tool that enables me to test all my hypotheses through iterative experimentation. They are also an excellent resource, skilled at explaining a process, its importance, and its benefits. I especially appreciate their forum analysis feature. However, setting up the first test does require some time and there is a learning curve involved, as with everything.
