Planview ProjectPlace: A Superior Choice for Collaborative Project Management
I find Planview ProjectPlace to be highly efficient and extremely stable. It's accessible on computers via a web platform or through a mobile app, ensuring the entire team stays connected regardless of location. It allows us to easily record activities, issues, risks, and document the entire project execution cycle. The software is user-friendly and its summary page provides a complete view of pending activities, aiding in task prioritization. The color-coded labels further simplify understanding. It also allows each team member to update progress or explain delays, and activate notifications for team-wide updates. While it's great for continuous monitoring and documentation, it seems more suited for interactive or waterfall-type project management, suggesting other methodologies might be better for certain agile projects. We switched to Planview ProjectPlace because it doesn't require its own infrastructure and its mobile app keeps the team connected at all times.

Effortless Web-Based Project and Task Management with Planview-Projectplace
As a user of Planview-Projectplace, I value its transparency, allowing all sectors of the business to view project statuses, not just project managers. The software is user-friendly for non-Project Managers and non-technical individuals, and the mobile app effectively mirrors the web version for Board use. However, transitioning from Microsoft Project, I find myself missing some of its more advanced features. Managing multiple projects can be difficult as there's no method to link them within Projectplace. For instance, I would prefer if workspaces could contribute to a global roadmap. I also wish documents could reference our existing Sharepoint libraries instead of being stored on Projectplace or OneDrive.
