Exploring Workable: A Startup's Experience with a Professional Recruitment Platform

As a startup professional recruitment firm, I decided to give Workable a try and started a free trial with the intention of making it my primary ATS/job posting board. Despite my company not having a website, Workable was open to exploring other ways to verify my business. I even reached out to the CEO about my situation and was pleasantly surprised when my message was promptly passed on to another dedicated employee. They offered me some insightful advice, suggesting that I focus my efforts on other aspects of my business before posting jobs on their site. Their customer service was quite impressive. I would definitely recommend them!

Caution: Sales Tactics Overshadow Quality - Proceed with Care!

I found Workable to be a reliable tool with a straightforward, neat layout that was easy to personalize and teach to my team. It fulfilled our requirements and offered a good amount of customization for our unique hiring process. However, I had a poor experience with the sales team. We initially intended to renew our contract after a year, but after realizing we were overpaying for an unreliable feature, we decided to switch to a cheaper ATS. When we told Workable we wouldn't renew two weeks before the contract ended, the sales rep rudely insisted that a previous verbal agreement was binding and that we were stuck for another year. I was disappointed that Workable seemed more focused on trapping customers into contracts than understanding why they wanted to leave. The company did apologize for my negative experience and promised to further discuss the issues I raised.

    TA Interns' Insight on Workable

I think Workable is fantastic and it makes me feel very comfortable working with our TA team and the product. I appreciate everything about it, particularly its user-friendliness and clear labeling. The only minor issue we occasionally encounter is duplicating candidates for different job roles, but we haven't faced any other issues so far.

Exploring Workable: A User's Perspective on HR and Hiring

My overall experience with Workable has been positive. The HR team is very pleasant and patient in their communication with candidates. We mainly use Workable for hiring as it enables us to easily locate and connect with potential hires. However, we have faced problems with fake managers and candidates. We initially used Cieple for hiring in the USA, but later transitioned to Workable.

Excellent for Hiring, Falls Short on Analytics

As a user, I appreciate that Workable, being a cloud-based software, enables remote team collaboration on recruitment. However, I find its job posting format too standard, limiting customization and branding. I also encounter issues with the reporting feature, particularly with malfunctioning tracking links for application origins, especially with LinkedIn ads. Additionally, extracting data for reporting is challenging as it requires exporting to work with it and link back to clients' paid LinkedIn ads.

Exploring Workable: A Personal Experience with Online Recruitment

I recently set up an account and a job listing on Workable and was thrilled to start receiving candidates almost immediately! There was a brief hiccup where my account was temporarily suspended, but it gave me a chance to interact with their support team. While it took a bit of time to understand the situation, it was a valuable learning experience. I'm now more familiar with the platform and excited to continue using Workable for my recruitment needs!

Exploring Recruitment Diversity and Efficiency with Workable

I've been using Workable and it's been quite an interesting journey! The platform has given me a wide range of job applications to sift through. It's been fascinating to see the diversity of applicants, some of whom have unique perspectives and approaches. While it's true that some candidates didn't attend interviews or seemed to apply for roles that didn't quite match their skill set, it's given me a chance to refine my recruitment process and better define the roles I'm offering. It's been a learning curve, but I'm confident that with Workable, I'm on the right track to finding the perfect fit for my team.
