Ever since I began using Bamboohr, my paycheck schedule has become an exciting surprise! It used to arrive like clockwork every other Wednesday, but now it could pop up on Thursday morning, Friday morning or afternoon, or even in the middle of the night. It's like a mini lottery, you never know when you're going to hit the jackpot! When I reach out to their customer service, they maintain a strict policy of communicating only with the contact person, which I appreciate as it ensures security and confidentiality. They are always polite and professional, frequently using the word unfortunately to express their inability to assist me directly. It's clear they value protocol and order, which is reassuring in a world where data privacy is so crucial.

I prefer BambooHR over other recruiting software I've used as it simplifies my work and allows me to focus on management rather than paperwork. I appreciate that it offers different portals for users and has a database that enables employees to maintain their own records, track time off, sick days, and hours worked, and sign documents electronically. It also eases my role as an HR manager by creating and tracking records, ensuring all necessary checks and paperwork are completed within the required timeframe. However, I still have to manually scan and label any documents that aren't created or automated through the software, which can be annoying if employee turnover is high. I switched to BambooHR because the previous software, Tempworks, was expensive and charged for even minor customer service assistance. It was also confusing and time-consuming to manage.

I've had the opportunity to utilize BambooHR across multiple organizations and it's quite nostalgic, as the interface and features have a classic feel, reminiscent of the early 2s. For example, the one-to-ones, a vital HR activity, are presented in a unique table format with compact columns and in reverse order, which offers a distinctive and unconventional approach that I find intriguing.
