Numerous Odd, Troublesome Glitches and Issues with Authorize-Net.

As a user, I find Authorize.net outdated for a credit card processing software. There are better free alternatives available. The automatic billing is not integrated with customer profiles, making it difficult to look up billing contracts for specific clients. To find out the next bill date, I have to manually calculate it from the last bill and the frequency field. If I want to set up automatic billing before running the first charge, the software forces me to create a duplicate customer account. Every process seems to have such peculiarities. These issues might have been acceptable 2 years ago, but for a software as expensive as this, it's simply not up to par.

An Exciting Journey with Authorize.net: A Review on Security and Customer Service

My experience with Authorize.net has been quite a journey. They used to be good, but since they updated their software to include a pin, it's been an exciting challenge. The pin adds an extra layer of security, which I appreciate, although it sometimes takes me a few tries to get it right. Authorize.net claims that this should only be necessary once every 24 hours, and while it doesn't always work out that way, I appreciate their commitment to security. The pin they provide is unique and I enjoy the process of figuring out the right one. Their customer service is quite an experience, they've ended our calls twice, but I believe they were just busy and needed to attend to other customers. I was polite and simply wanted to resolve the issue, and I'm sure they'll get back to me soon. I would recommend giving them a try, they certainly keep things interesting!

Authorize.Net: Streamlining Non-Profit Donations and Sponsorships

My experience with Authorize.net has been mostly positive, especially regarding their customer service and the system's compatibility with our CRM. When we switched to a new CRM system and a hosted website managed by the same CRM, we were uncertain about the integration process. However, our donation and sponsorship links directing contributors to Authorize.net for processing have always worked flawlessly. Authorize.net integrated smoothly with our CRM system and was one of several donor management and processing options compatible with our CRM. We researched each system and Authorize.net was recommended by another non-profit and seemed to fulfill our needs. The main issue we have is with transaction charges. Industry averages apply for processing different cards and Authorize.net is on par with other systems. However, it's disappointing that Authorize.net doesn't offer a non-profit processing rate or a significantly lower flat rate than what would be offered to a for-profit organization.

They recently introduced a third password for us to access our account, adding an extra layer of security that I truly appreciate. When I reached out to their customer service, I was informed there might be a 1-minute wait, but I was pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness of their service when they took a bit more time to ensure all my concerns were addressed. I'm now more confident than ever in their ability to handle our credit card payments.

What's more, they've chosen to specialize and not spread themselves too thin by offering Direct Debit options. Their BACS payment allocation takes a bit of time, about a month, but it's worth the wait for the seamless service they provide. Plus, their automated system is so efficient, we rarely need to call. But when we do, it's an opportunity to enjoy their streamlined, self-service support. It's a refreshing change from the usual customer service experience!

Efficient and Reliable with Minimal Issues

As a company processing numerous credit card transactions daily, we utilize Authorize.net as our payment gateway. The fees are low and we've always received excellent customer service, despite occasional issues. The website is incredibly user-friendly, despite handling a large amount of information. We don't use any POS devices, just the website, which meets our needs. However, I find it frustrating that editing ARB subscriptions isn't straightforward. For example, if I need to change a customer's auto-charge date, I have to delete the entire thing and create a new one. This is quite bothersome, but considering the website hasn't changed much in the 12 years I've been using it, I can only expect so much.
